As the faint whispers of concern reached your ears, you began to stir from the depths of your dream. The haunting echoes of the nightmare started to fade, replaced by the gentle murmur of familiar voices. You felt the warmth of someone's embrace and the tender touch of fingers gently stroking your hair.

Slowly, you opened your eyes, blinking against the dim light. The first thing you saw was Aventurine's worried face, his eyes filled with a mixture of relief and concern. His arms were wrapped around you protectively, his presence a soothing balm against the remnants of your distressing dream.

"Kakavasha..." you murmured, the name slipping from your lips unconsciously.

"I'm here," he replied softly, his voice a calming reassurance. "You're safe, Y/N. It was just a nightmare."

You took a deep breath, trying to steady your racing heart. The dream had felt so real, so vivid, and it took a moment for you to fully reorient yourself to the comforting reality around you. You looked up to see Ratio standing nearby, his expression mirroring Aventurine's concern.

"Ratio..." you said, your voice barely above a whisper. "What happened?"

"We're not entirely sure," Ratio replied, stepping closer and kneeling beside you. "You were in a deep sleep, and it seemed like you were having a nightmare. We were worried about you."

Aventurine pressed the handkerchief against your forehead again, dabbing away the last remnants of sweat. "Do you remember anything about the dream?" he asked gently.

You closed your eyes for a moment, trying to recall the fragments of the nightmare. Images flashed through your mind—dark shadows, a feeling of being lost, and a voice calling out to you. "It was... strange," you began slowly. "I felt like I was somewhere else, not just dreaming. It was as if my mind had wandered off to another place."

Ratio exchanged a concerned glance with Aventurine. "Do you think it could be related to Penacony? Or someone..?"

Ratio gave you a reassuring smile before standing up and walking away, presumably to give you and Aventurine some space. You began to push yourself up, but before you could fully stand, Aventurine gently but firmly pulled you back down, making you sit on his lap. Despite being in a public place, he didn't seem to care about the potential onlookers.

"Aventurine," you whispered, a hint of surprise in your voice. "We're in public..."

"I don't care," he murmured, his voice low and filled with emotion. "I just need to hold you right now."

His arms wrapped around you tightly, enveloping you in a cocoon of warmth and safety. He pressed a tender kiss to your forehead, his lips lingering there as if to reassure himself of your presence. The sensation sent a pleasant shiver down your spine, and you felt your heart flutter in response.
