"Those officers will be here any moment... I'll just have to put on an act."
Several figures enter the warehouse. It's the IPC guards, and they're pointing their weapons at the thugs and at Miyoko, who's on the floor, scared to death. Did you scare her a bit too much? It's fine.
She jumps as the guards repeat their command to drop their weapons. There's no time to realize what's really going on; gunshots are fired. The sound explodes in your ears.
The strongest of Miyoko's henchmen apparently has no taste for obedience. He fires, and the police fire back.
Oh shit! You're still tied up at the leg! Trying to avoid the shots, you rocked your chair so much that it toppled over! Now you're on your side with your hands free and your knees curled up on the floor. You're scared, feeling like a worm in a box.
"I am the most unreliable narrator, aren't I? Why am I speaking to myself?"
Bullets are flying everywhere, and you're stuck in the middle of it all! You spot Miyoko's other henchman running for his life, trying to dodge the bullets.
You're petrified. Miyoko ducks behind a row of crates. At the same moment, you hear a groan of pain that tears at your guts. Wet drops of liquid land on your hand.
"Hey guys! This bitch is here!" Miyoko tries to run away. You scream to warn the police! There's no way she's escaping this time! Not if you can help it.
With your eyes riveted to her as she flees, you see an IPC officer pin her to the ground. She struggles, screams, and hits in an attempt to escape, but two other men lift her up and get her under control.
"YOU'RE GOING TO REGRET THIS, YOU'LL ALL DIE! MY FATHER WILL MAKE SURE-!"
Someone approaches you. You jump with apprehension until he helps you untie your restraints.
"It's all right, miss. It's over."
You give your saviour a grateful look. "My god. I was so scared! Thank you, you saved my life!"
