Luz ran to her class, Willow and Gus following behind, "I'll get there first!" Luz taunted in a playful manner.
"Because you had a head start!" Gus yelled out as he tried speeding his game up, Willow stopped as she became tired.
"Ya snooze ya' lose-!" The human didn't get to finish when she suddenly crashed into someone, getting up she groaned and shook her head. Luz's eyes landed on a witch about her age, that was under her. Luz gasped as she got up.
"I am so so sorry, here let me help you!" She said helping the student up.
"Hey it's fine, we're cool." The witch replied as they dusted themselves off. Luz smiled only to be pushed by a pink-haired witch.
"OH MY- ARE YOU ALRIGHT!?" She yelled, the witch looked offended as they looked back at the person Luz had just flattened.
"Like I said it's okay, don't worry-" the witch said, rolling their eyes at the female. They started to walk away as the pink-haired female looked at them, jaw opened in shock. How could someone not teach her a lesson!?
The rest of their gang followed suit, revealing Gus and Willow that had both been watching everything. They quickly ran towards Luz.
"Luz..you just pushed over one of the popular girls.." Gus said Willow nodding.
"Ugh, I know, I've just made a bad first impression!" Luz yelled out, disappointment in her voice. Willow shook her head. Suddenly the bell rang and everyone scattered towards their classes.
Later on in class, Luz wasn't having the best time. One of the popular witches was picking on her and the teacher did nothing about it, Luz grumbled under her breath when suddenly another witch's voice was heard.
"Hey leave them alone!" She turned around to see the same witch from before, the one Luz had literally run into. The other witch gave her a worried sheepish look and calmed down, the witch looked back at the female and gave her a smile, Luz smiled back and the rest of the class went on without any disruptions.
"I can't believe they stood up for us!" Luz thought, suddenly a witch walked up next to her "Is this seat taken?" Luz looked at them and it was yet again, their savior, Luz shook her head and the witch sat next to her.
"Sorry about the other witches, they aren't exactly..nice to others." They said.
"It's not your fault for their actions!" Luz replied, the unnamed witch smiled before a thought crossed their mind.
"I never did introduce myself did I?" Luz shook her head.
"Ah, darn, my name is (Y/N)" They said happily.
"My name is Luz" (Y/N) smiled as Luz introduced herself.
"Cool name kid." Luz felt her cheeks slightly heat up, the bell rang once again.
"Ah shoot..well, I've gotta go.." They waved their goodbyes, but before they were completely out of sight they turned around at Luz calling them.
"Oh and (Y/N), you spark in interest in me, maybe see you around sometime?" A small faint blush covered (Y/N's) cheeks. They nodded and head back to class.
Oh boy, what had Luz and (Y/N) gotten themselves into?
