Amity closed the book as she finished reading a story to the little kids like she always did. The children smiled and ran off to find their guardians.
"I admire your work." A voice complimented from the entrance of the kid's section. Amity tensed up a little but immediately looked back at the person that had spoken. Their eyes landed on a beautiful person with (e/c) eyes, that matched perfectly well with their (h/l) and (h/c) hair. Amity felt their face becoming heated up as the seconds passed.
"T-thanks.." she replied, a silence was shared when Amity spoke up once again.
"I-uh, did you..need..anything?" She asked, the person that leaned against the frame of the door nodded.
"As a matter of fact, I do." The person walked up a little closer to Amity but stopped at a close enough distance.
"I was looking for a few kid books, and I was told that you'd be the perfect witch to help me out." Amity felt her hearts skip some beats.
"Uh, yeah s-sure...I can help with that.." Amity said, earning a smile from the other.
"Name's (Y/N) by the way." They introduced, and the witch smiled.
"I'm Amity." And so began the friendship, (Y/N) would come by almost every day and would speak to Amity almost regularly. Using the excuse of getting books to leave home and talk to the female.
By this time both had grown a strong affection towards each other, (Y/N) felt the need to keep it a secret.
Amity felt the same but it was rather obvious to her elder siblings.
One day, (Y/N) bumped into a conversation they were having.
"-So when do you plan on telling them?" One of the two elder siblings asked, (Y/N) stiffened up as a statue.
"I-I don't think I will.." Amity's voice replied, (Y/N) felt a small feeling of guilt but just had to go listen, they had to find out what exactly they were talking about.
"Why not? Just tell them that you love them! I'm sure they'll feel the same way!" (Y/N) felt footsteps coming closer, they decided to leave, not wanting to risk getting caught.
'She likes someone, but who?' The thought lingered in (Y/N's) head as they didn't want to get their hopes up.
A while later at home..they sighed and sat up on their bed, tomorrow they would have to explain to Amity what they didn't show and needed a good lie.
Being the queen, king, or royalty of lies came up with one pretty fast. The next day came quickly and (Y/N) was at...a forest..?
"Where could she-" (Y/N) was cut off by the familiar mint green-haired girl running in.
"I'M HERE!" She yelled, once she stopped in front of the familiar friend a blush spread onto her cheeks.
"Hey uh, quick question.. why are we in the woods?" (Y/N) asked, the female looked a little...worried?
"Well, I t-thought we'd..I don't know, switch things up a bit..?" (Y/N) shrugged and looked around.
"Nice place you chose.." Amity looked back at where her two siblings stood and made the 'Forget about the plan aboard the mission' sign. But, would her sibs really do that?
No.
They began to use their magic and a small sign that said '(Y/N), will you go out with me' fell in front of them.
The whole reason why she wanted to stop this was because it looked too cheesy or way too embarrassing.
(Y/N's) eyes landed on the sign, they quickly read it out loud and the mint-haired female hide her face away. (Y/N) looked at her and smiled warmly, they hugged her and Amity felt a sense of happiness and relief wash over her.
"So..uh, does this mean you.." (Y/N) smiled and nodded, Amity quickly gave them a quick peck on the cheek, forgetting everything else other than the two of them.
