A/N: Won't be home for a few days so have this chapter while I'm gone ^^

It's a bit shorter and ignore any typos and mistakes I missed because it's 1a.m and I'm supposed to wake up at 5 for an 8 hour road trip across the country 🤗😻(😭)

"Lee Minho."

Minho dropped his bag on the floor, taking off his shoes and looking up at the man standing not far off from where he stood.

"Yes father?"

"Your teacher contacted me today. He says your grades are not improving enough." Minho stared at him blankly for a moment.

"I'll try harder."

He started walking towards the stairs to his room but a hard grip on his arm stopped him.

"Lee Minho. Don't you dare speak to your father like that."

As if woken from a daze, he felt a stinging pain on his left cheek. He barely reacted, but when it happened again he quickly looked up to meet Haemin's gaze. He couldn't even bring himself to call the man his father.

"Sorry. I'm going to go study now, goodbye."

Before Haemin could do anything, his son slipped out of his grip and hurried up the stairs.

Minho knew he was playing with fire just then, but he just felt plain tired. Of his shitty life, of his abusive father, of everything.

But what he currently hated the most was the image of the omega with puffy cheeks lingering in his mind, and he despised him for it.
