A Week Later

"And what did you get, Mr. Perfect?" Jisung nudged Seungmin who gave him a dirty look. "98."

"OUT OF 100?!?" 

"OH MY GOSH STOP YELLING HAN JISUNG"

"I'M LITERALLY OLDER THAN YOU"

"I DON'T GIVE A-"

"Please, calm down a bit for the rest of ours' sake." Chan interrupted, pinching the bridge of his nose. Jeongin hummed in agreement, snuggling a little closer to Chan as a cold breeze blew across the clearing.

"I thought it was supposed to be getting warmer soon," Changbin wondered out loud, Felix huddled in between his side and the arm he draped around the younger.

"Still gonna take a month or two I think." Hyunjin said, soothingly rubbing a seething Seungmin's thigh underneath the table. Chan and Jeongin both noticed this though and while Chan chose to pretend not to see, Jeongin made a disgusted face.

"Thigh already? It's only been 2 days."

Hyunjin shrugged, Seungmin's ears being flushed red as Hyunjin's hand rested a little more towards the inside of his leg.

"Please, do stuff like that in your own time, just not when all of us are here trying to enjoy lunch break..." Chan sighed tiredly, pulling his own boyfriend closer and scenting him deeply. Jeongin's soft purrs were audible to the other omegas, who soon found themselves with even softer purrs in an automatic response to their youngest's comfort.

"Oh gosh," Changbin groaned, wrapping Felix in his arms. "This could make me fall asleep right now." Hyunjin nodded, and even Minho hummed in agreement. And Chan...

He was already out like a light.

"He didn't get much sleep last night." Minho said quietly, knowing that Chan had nights when his insomnia got bad. And with recent events, the weight on his shoulders had probably increased, along with stress.

It's because of me, isn't it...

"Minhoooo?" The said boy's head snapped back up, meeting Hyunjin's eyes cluelessly. "You looked really out of it. You okay?"

"Yeah. Just thinking." 

About...

"I'm going out with Seojun if that's fine!" Heesoo called from where he was already putting on his shoes.

"Okay! Take care!" Jiyoon responded happily. She was making her famous raspberry pie, eventually luring out an apparently starving Jisung who helped her finish up. Right before Heesoo opened the door, he paused and turned to look at his mother and brother.

"I'm going to ask him to be my boyfriend today."

Jiyoon gasped, almost dropping the rolling pin she had in hand. 

"I'm going to have a son-in-law!"

"I'm going to have a brother-in-law!"

Heesoo laughed, though his insides were tumbling with nerves. Jiyoon calmed herself down a bit.
