The next day (read the last half of the previous chapter to get a recap, sorry for updating so long after it)

"Okay listen up." Chan tapped the desk to get everyone's attention.

"We've finished enough songs so that everyone's going to be busy. If we want to do well on this project we need to start practicing as soon as possible, as well as recording for the songs. Minho, Hyunjin, Felix, come with us today so we can record for your parts in songs. Seungmin, Jeongin, I've sent you guys a demo version of the vocal based song, just try to learn the lyrics for now. Once we've finished with the dancers we'll record you guys."

Chan clasped his hands together. "Ready to go?"

"Ready."

Jisung settled down next to Chan, still getting a good view of the computer screen as well as Felix who was reading his lyrics in the recording room.

"There's some rap in this?" Felix squinted. "Thank god half of it's in English. He said half-jokingly. His eyebrows furrowed slightly as he scanned the sheet of paper.

"Uh... what exactly is this song about?"

"..."

Minho tsked when Felix got no answer, also looking at his own piece of paper with a bemused expression.

"I bet ten bucks Bang Chan wrote it."

"Excuse me? Rude."

"So... who wrote it?"

"...All three of us."

"Me and Changbin hyung contributed like 3 lines in a combined effort." Jisung chipped in before squeaking as Chan practically smothered him, but still being careful to avoid his head.

"You annoying little baby squirrel." 

Chan could feel a certain someone's gaze burning into him but he ignored it and roughly nudged Jisung's shoulder with his nose before moving off him.

"Okay anyways... Felix. Let's start with the first line. 'Fake eyes open'. Have a listen to the demo and then try to get it to as similarly as possible, but with your deeper voice.." Chan instructed in English.

While he and Jisung was guiding Felix through his recording, Changbin helped Hyunjin and Minho with their parts, demonstrating and providing advice, especially with the rap parts.

"A bit more sharper,"

"Make it a tad... breathier, Min. The concept of the song is very... explicit."

They went on like that for a while before Chan signaled the finishing of Felix's recording with loud praises and Jisung applauding.

"Is it wrong to be turned on by my best friend? The rap, the fucking deep voice..." Jisung teasingly bit his lip and winked at Felix.

"You like the deep voice?" Felix said innocently, the pitch sending shivers down everyone's spines.

"Lix~" Jisung fell back, hand over his forehead dramatically and jokingly moaned before a cloud of jealous alpha pheromones hit him.
