"Let me get this straight. You, Seungmin and my little brother are all dating the same people that bullied you?" Jaehyeok asked in horrified disbelief.

"They've really changed." Felix insisted.

"That's what they all say."

"Hey, before you go all big brother mode again, just letting you know Innie and Chan were the first to get together in our friend group because Chan saved Jeongin from being sexually assaulted."

"MY LITTLE BROTHER GOT WHAT?!?" 

"Don't stress too much, hyung, it was almost a lot worse if it weren't for Chan hyung."

Jaehyeok was pale and looked like he was about to pass out. His face softened a bit though. "He saved my little brother, huh?" He murmured.

"They're really all good people now."

"Hm..."

"Felix?" Heesoo's voice suddenly spoke.

"Do they happen to be the same group of four alphas that beat my brother daily a month or so ago?"

Jisung stiffened, his pulse speeding up and being exposed by the machine monitoring his vitals.

"Do they happen to be the same four alphas that bloodied and bruised my brother?

The silence terrified everyone in the room.

"Do they happen to be the same four alphas that tried to strangle my brother?

"..."

It was horribly quiet, apart from the machine beeping rapidly as Jisung's heart rate picked up.

"Han Jisung?" Said boy winced from the full name. "Y-yes, hyung..?"

"This is what's going to happen. I know you'll be safe here with Dr. Yang and Felix, if he's willing to stay, so I'm going to get out to blow some steam off and calm down. Then, I'm going to find the each of them and fucking k-"

"Consult them," Felix interrupted, taking in Jisung's teary eyes and nails digging into his palms. "He's just going to consult them and talk it out. It'll be fine, Sung, I'm sure."

Heesoo's jaw clenched before he relaxed a bit and kissed Jisung's forehead. He then stood up. 

"I'll be back soon, bub. I love you, okay?"

The omega whined quietly in response, watching his brother walk out with wide glistening eyes. Felix and Jaehyeok's hearts shattered, as well as the nurse who had arrived in time to see Heesoo walking out and hear Jisung's little whine.

She set the tray of food down, exchanging a glance with Dr. Yang before carefully peeling off her scent-blockers and beginning to release calming pheromones. Jisung gazed at her, those pools of sadness in his eyes completely breaking Yeojin's work resolve.

As the first cloud of pheromones hit Jisung, the boy's breath hitched and the welling tears finally began spilling. He keened and went limp, cries leaving his lips as Yeojin slowly approached.

"Hey, what's up buddy? What's wrong, hm?" Yeojin coaxed gently, perched on the edge of the bed while Felix kept pushing out his own relaxing pheromones and rubbing Jisung's right hand. 

Jisung just kept sobbing, reciprocating her pheromones with his own in a response that made his scent sickly sweet. He couldn't form words, the cries just leaving his body as he leaned a bit closer to the nurse.

Felix gasped suddenly.

"You- Yeojin-ssi, you- you smell like her..."

As soon as Felix finished, Jisung's cries got louder, whimpers slipping in between them.

"Who's 'her'?" She asked, slowly bringing her wrist closer to the omega's face so her scent could soothe him a bit.

"His mother. She- she passed away not long ago." Felix looked down to hide his face as he bit his lip. He breathed in, Yeojin's honey and strawberry milk scent awfully familiar.

It wasn't as rich, or milky as Jiyoon's scent, but it was more than enough to bring back memories. The extra hint of strawberries was also nice.

Jisung clung onto the nurse with one hand since the other was attached to an IV. He kept crying, his nose buried in the scent gland on Yeojin's wrist.

"Oh... oh, sweetheart, I'm so sorry. It's almost my break time anyway, I'll stay here, is that what you'd like?" 

Jisung managed a nod, still weeping, but the more pheromones he breathed in, the calmer he got.

"Good job Sung. You're doing such a good job." Felix praised shakily. Jisung's sobs had receded to little sniffles by now and Yeojin hummed in satisfaction.

"It'll be alright, darling. Take all the time you need. You wanna try eat something?" The nurse gestured to the tray of food on the table.

Truthfully, no, he didn't think he'd be able to keep a single bite down, but after seeing Felix's sad puppy face, he chewed the inside of his cheek.

"Okay."

Though it was supposed to be getting warmer already, a cold breeze ruffled Heesoo's hair, making him shiver. The sun was dipping below the horizon, casting golden rays onto his face.

With a sigh, he pulled out his phone and tapped onto the first contact.

A/N: Sorry, a little shorter, but next chapter will mainly be some Heesoo X his boyfie because their love life is more active than Minsung as of right now- 😭They'll get together soon, don't worryy~
