Kei and Oliver got married at the courthouse. Oliver's parents, Kei's mother, sister, and two of the couple's closest friends attended as their witnesses. The couple later met with the other guests at a small Victorian venue outside downtown Tokyo.

Naruto took note that there weren't many in attendance. He thought there would be more people waiting to congratulate the couple. Oliver and Kei were such nice people that one would naturally assume they would have an entourage of friends.

Kei looked radiant in his white/silver shimmering kimono. The flow of silks hid his huge belly and unless you saw him from a side view you couldn't tell how heavily pregnant he was. The couple's dance was an emotional one. The way they swayed together there was no question about how in sync they were with each other. Oliver couldn't hold back his tears of joy while he held Kei as close as he could helping support his swollen belly as they slowly danced on the floor. Their song Turning Page by Sydney Rose was fitting for their love journey.

Coming to learn more about their friends, they were told that Kei's ex-fiancé, Rin, was once a close friend of Oliver's. They had met in middle school and during high school both boys were there when Kei's father passed away.

They stayed close friends and had plans for Oliver to be Rin's best man at the wedding. A wedding that never happened. Needless to say, Oliver and Rin's friendship dissolved instantly when Rin abandoned Kei after the doctor confirmed his pregnancy. Oliver later confessed that even though he was never attracted to men, most definitely being a lady's man, there was always a connection he held with Kei.

So when he stepped in after Rin was out of the picture it was then that an unspoken bond his heart had forged with Kei since their early childhood pawed at him to act wanting nothing more but to guarantee his friend a lifetime of happiness and care for the offspring he was carrying even though they weren't his biologically. The Australian loved the twins already as his own and wanted them to have his surname before they were born which is why they decided to have a shotgun ceremony.

It was touching to watch Oliver hover close to his newlywed husband. Halfway through the party, it became clear that the day's events with only a couple of weeks to go before his due date were flagging Kei's energy.

Ushering Kei over to where they were lounging in the quiet corner of the venue Oliver helped Kei sit in the cushion chair where he immediately sank in relief on the pillows that Oliver placed behind. A groan emitted from him his sore back finally alleviated the strain from standing. The twins were incredibly heavy at this stage of pregnancy and being on his feet for any period was intolerable.

"Mate, would you mind looking after him for me a bit?" Oliver petitions Itachi. After a few more minutes of protectively fussing Kei, and feeling comfortable enough, Oliver planted a kiss on the pale forehead before returning to entertain the small crowd of guests.

"He's too much." Kei huffed his face blushing as he smiled to himself. Everything about Oliver felt right. A feeling he never felt with Rin.

"He has good reason," Itachi commented pouring the latter a glass of ice water and watching the raven graciously accept it, drinking it quickly.

He was glad that the twins weren't the first set of grandchildren. Oliver's older brother and wife already have three kids and his sister has two. Being familiar and having gone through the process with their siblings their mothers weren't the typical worry worts that fretted over him with every little thing. Kei was grateful for that because right now his dear husband was enough.

"Yeah, I suppose." Giving the older raven a small smile. Just thinking about his Oli he felt contentment blossoming in his chest. It was because of the Aussie that he was able to heal and move forward.
