Kiyoshi threw his graded papers on top of the bed before climbing up beside Naruto in pure excitement that school was done for the day and he could play with his baby sister. He can't help but greet her with excitement, his small hands rubbing the belly out of habit as it's becoming bigger as the days pass. He then kisses and hugs the rotund mound tightly grinning wide when she responds with a jiggle and a kick making her temporarily home misshapen.
Naruto rests his lower back on the pillow with a wince at the shifting of the baby under his skin. Despite being uncomfortable he never discourages the small raven from spending time with his sibling because he knows the two have already established a bond and this is the only way for now that they can play with each other.
Naruto cards his fingers through his son's hair trying his best not to groan from being kicked in the ribs as the baby moves interacting with him. She was surprisingly calm for most of the day he was able to sleep for a few hours but now that everyone is home she'll be moving around because she can hear their voices.
"Did you have a good day?" Naruto asks.
Kiyoshi nodded his head before taking the papers and happily shoving them towards the latter's hand. "I'm going to be in the spelling B. The teacher says I'm very capable." He cheered puffing out his chest proudly.
Naruto couldn't help but chuckle at the little boy's antics. Every evening he spends time working on his cross puzzles and it seems to be paying off. "That's awesome, Kiyoshi." Naruto praises reading over the paperwork whilst Kiyoshi goes back to chatting with the baby whose kicks strengthen forcing Naruto to change his position and grab the side of his stomach. Kiyoshi squeals amused by the roll of his belly when the baby somersaults enjoying the laughter of her brother.
Naruto closes his eyes, exhaling softly as they continue their playtime.
"Are you excited for your playdate tomorrow?" Naruto asked hopeful to distract him.
Kiyoshi and his friends took turns having playdates at each other's homes and today was his turn to host his friends Abigail and Yuto.
"Yes! I made a list of stuff we're going to do."
"You did?"
"Hn," Kiyoshi responded. The hope of distraction failed as Kiyoshi continued with either patting or kissing the overextended swell giggling as the baby rolled with every touch.
Naruto couldn't help but snicker the child was so much like his father and uncle having adopted the straightforward bland response.
"Auntie made us cupcakes for tomorrow." Kiyoshi was so excited and proud about hosting his friends he wanted to plan their play day by himself. When he shared his enthusiasm with the cafe gang, of course, Anais was quick to volunteer to bake whatever his little heart desired so he put in a request for pink confetti cupcakes and Themba volunteered to make tea sandwiches. Kiyoshi had developed a crush on Abigail and wanted to shower her with some of her favorites which was anything pink. His best friend Yuto was the only person from school who knew about his secret, but the rest of them did their best to help him spoil her. Naruto was touched by the support from his friends because he knew he wouldn't be able to do much of the baking or cooking for that matter and Itachi although cooking hadn't tackled baking sweets goods yet.
"You and sissy can have cupcakes too."
Feeling grateful for the generous offer from the precious soul, "Ah, thank you, honey," the blonde said hugging him.
"Hn. I love you, haha." Kiyoshi said kissing the blonde on the cheek.
Naruto gazes down at the giggling child whose face is lying on his stomach. The blonde smiles as he strokes soothingly over the inky silk hair his heart cherishing the precious moments like these storing them up in a treasure box of memories.
