chapter four, with people watching
before (y/n) could even realize, the game had already ended and bluelock won 3-4. isagi yoichi scored an unbelievable last minute goal, shocking everyone in and out the stadium.
the poor coach beside her was already crying in despair, u-20 lost. she was so proud of rin.. but she wouldn't say it out loud.
she stared at the two brothers — both of them still on the field. they were talking and rin's facial expression lit up at first when his brother came up to him. maybe they talked it out. but then rin's expression totally changed, full of disappointment and anger. never mind.
a while after sae walked away, rin finally got up. then his eyes glanced over to where she was, his lips parting when he saw her. she looked away — fast, she didn't even realize how long she was staring at rin until he looked back at her.
she peeked behind her, trying to look at him again. wait wait — 'is he walking towards me?..' shepicked up her things, rushing to leave. she couldn't face him just yet.
but just when she turned around, he was right in front of her.
his hands shot up, placing them on her shoulders — he leaned towards her. his face was inches away from her and suddenly, it was just the two of of them in the whole world.
everything else was muzzled, all she could focused on was him in front of her, her mind flooded with the thought of him and she couldn't think straight.
her lips parted to speak, but was cut off when she felt his lips on her own. they felt exactly like she remembered. his lips were so soft.. he smelled like the sea and tasted like vanilla.
her arms were on his chest, still have not departed with his body. she tried to push him away, she really did. her mind wanted to but her body wouldn't allow it. safe to say that without thinking, she sunk into the kiss. her fingers that were once on his chest trailed up onto his neck, pulling him in further.
she didn't care if the whole world was watching. she missed him so bad.
(y/n) was the first to pull away — both of them out of breath. they just stood there, not wanting to leave. his eyes were glossy, and his breathing was heavy, she could hear his heart beating yet she couldn't tell if it was because of the game or her.
