chapter five, can't get rid of that kiss of yours
rin couldn't sleep that night, not even a bit. his lips were tingling with desperation to meet hers again.
unlike (y/n), rin knew exactly what he wanted. he knew he wanted her and only her. all everyone else talks about is moving on and ditching her for another woman but he didn't want that. he never even thought about getting with another woman — even if that woman could be a distraction or one night stand. he just wanted her.
he groaned in his bed, sinking further in, running his delicate fingers through his dark locks. he hated how she was always on his mind, even while he's playing soccer. whenever he does something, it's usually to impress her but she was never there.
she even missed the time he scored a goal in at the u-20 vs bluelock match.
he hated how he wasn't good enough for her. not mature enough like his brother and her so called friends. lavinho, adam blake, leonardo — all those people. and that stupid, stupid otoya who called her a sexy chick and said he would smash her right in front of his face. otoya ended up with a bruised eye after that and rin almost got disqualified.
he hated all of them with a burning passion because they got to be with her and not him. it was idiotically unfair. she left him all for those bunch of idiots who weren't even as good as him — and that otoya thinks she would actually give him a chance. she would not.. right?
he changed for her. he really really wished she actually loved him back instead of just telling him she loves him and never doing a thing about it. she would always tell him to move on, telling him they couldn't be together even if they loved each other but she never told him the reasons why. it made him think that she just.. didn't love him anymore. he wasn't mad at her, he was mad at himself.
was he really not good enough?
