Lazarus Rising

Saige's pov

Dean finished buckling Evie into her carseat as we got ready to go find Sam. He turned back to me, shutting the door.

I stepped forward, wrapping my arms around him. I just wanted to feel him again. "You came back." I whispered, gripping him tight. "You're really here."

"I'm here." He whispered back, lips brushing my shoulder as his arms wound around me. "I'm here. I'll never leave you again."

I knew it was a promise that was dangerous to make, but it made me feel better nonetheless. I was so happy I wanted to cry. I wanted to hold him here with me forever because a part of me was terrified he was going to disappear. A part of me was terrified this was a dream, that I would wake up and he'd be gone again. But he was here. He was holding me again.

His arms were strong around me, hands warm as they pressed against my back. "I love you." I whispered.

"I love you too, Si."

Rock music played through the door of the motel room where we had tracked Sam too.

Dean knocked on the door.

A woman around my height with long dark hair and dark eyes opened the door. She wore nothing but a tank top and underwear as she looked between us. "So where is it?" She asked.

"Where's what?" Dean asked.

"The pizza that takes four people and a child to deliver."

"I think we got the wrong room."

"You think?" Millie asked.

"Is--?" Sam walked out of the bathroom then, stopping as his eyes landed on Dean. His hair was still damp from the shower.

"Hey, Sammy." Dean said.

"How's it going?" Millie asked, barging past the woman and inside.

"Millie, that's rude." I said as Dean walked inside.

Sam dove at Dean with a knife, making the girl by the door yelp.

Bobby pulled Sam away from Dean. "Who are you?" Sam yelled.

"Like you didn't do this." Dean quipped.

"Do what?"

"It's him. It's him, Sam." Bobby said. "I've been through this already. It's really him."

"Look, Sam, it's okay. Calm down. It's him. I promise. It's him." I stepped between Sam and Dean.

"What...?" Sam began, breathing heavy.

"I know." Dean nodded, moving closer.

"This is one hell of a family reunion." Millie remarked, opening the fridge. "You got any beer?"

"I look fantastic, huh?" Dean smiled.

"And the ego is still intact." I said. "We're all good."

Sam stepped forward, pulling Dean into a hug.

When they pulled away, the dark haired girl who still stood by the door asked, "So are you two, like, together?"

Millie and I burst out laughing.

"What? No. No." Sam shook his head. "He's my brother."

"O-oh--Got it." She nodded. "I guess. Look, I should probably go."
