Monster Movie

We passed the Welcome To Pennsylvania sign in the middle of the night as thunder boomed and lightning struck through the sky. On the radio was a weird classical song that sounded like it belonged in one of those old vampire movies with Dracula or something.

"Radio around here sucks." Dean cut the music off. "Come on, man. Jobs don't get much sweeter than this. Dead vic with a gnawed on neck, body drained of blood. And a witness who swears up and down that it was a vampire."

Sam--who was still reading the case file--agreed. "No, I agree. It's one hell of a case."

"Okay, then get your nose out of the books, Sam." Millie shrugged.

"I had better plans for my weekend than this." I sighed.

"We're hunting vampires, Si. What is better than that?" Dean asked.

I blinked. "Please tell you're joking right now."

Dean laughed, reaching over to pat my thigh. "I'm just messing with you, baby. I know what you really wanna do."

Millie fake gagged. "Gross. Stop. I hate you."

Evie giggled from her spot between Sam and Millie in the backseat.

"What more is there? I agreed it was a good case." Sam shrugged.

"We're not even on that topic anymore." Millie pointed out.

"A little more gusto, please." Dean said, fingers brushing over the inside of my thigh.

"It's just...The world is coming to an end. Things are a little complicated." Sam stated.

"Which is why I had plans this weekend." I stated.

"Well, we can't save the world. Not today, anyway." Dean pointed out. "But what we can do is chop off some vamps' heads. Come on, man. It's like the good old days. Honest to goodness monster hunt."

"I miss the good old days." I sighed.

"It's about time the Winchesters got back to tackling a straightforward, black and white case."

Apparently, we stumbled onto Oktoberfest in this town where every local was dressed ridiculously.

"Your tie is crooked." I stepped in front of Dean, straightening the tie out and moving my hands over his chest as we stood next to the Impala.

"I wonder why." Dean replied playfully, hands on my hips. "It's not like anyone was trying to jump my bones while I was getting dressed."

"Hmm, then it'll just have to remain a mystery." I shrugged, leaning up to kiss him. I gripped his tie in one hand and the side of his jacket in the other as he leaned down to deepen the kiss, tongue brushing my bottom lip.

Hands slipping down to my ass, he tugged me closer. I slid my hands up his chest and over his shoulders.

Sam cleared his throat. "Can we do our job or...?"

I pulled away, resting my head against Dean's shoulder. "Your brother is a buzzkill."

Dean chuckled, hands sliding up my back. "I know." He stepped back, hand on my waist as we continued through the streets between brick buildings. "We still gotta see the new Raiders movie."

"Saw it." Sam said.

"Without me?"

"You were in hell."

"I didn't see it." I spoke up.

"It's no excuse." Dean shook his head. "For that, you get to babysit Evie while Si and I go see a movie."
