🎶 get him back! — Olivia Rodrigo 🎶

"You happy to be back?" I asked Pedri as he was in hair and make-up for yet another Adidas shoot - this time it was for the EUROs' official football promotion. Pedri had just returned after his injury during Barca's away game against Real Sociedad - and they had won, which made it even better.
"Mhm... How was your date?" he asked and I looked at him confusedly - how did he know?
"How do you-?" I asked.
"Martin couldn't stop gushing about how amazing you are during my recovery session today" he huffed annoyedly and pulled out his phone to scroll around on it.

"It was nice, but-" I started, wanting to tell him that I wasn't really convinced by that guy.
"Cool. By the way, I need two tickets for our home game against Alavés" he said without looking up from his phone.
"Sure, for Fer and...?" I asked, typing the task into my notes.
"No, for a girl and her friend" he replied curtly and my fingers froze on a keyboard.
"A... girl?" I asked, trying not to sound pissed or jealous. But I was definitely both.
"Yeah? Is there a problem?" he asked and finally looked at me, raising his eyebrows.

"No... of course. Where did you meet her?" I asked, trying to sound genuinely interested.
"Took your advice and messaged a model on Instagram" he replied and the tension between us was rising, even the poor make-up artist noticed and exchanged weird glances at us. Great, so this was one of these brainless girls who were desperate to bag a rich and famous guy. Why did he go for one of those ducks?
"Cool" I said.
"Oh, and make them VIP, I want to impress her" he added and I rolled my eyes.
"I doubt she would come if they weren't VIP" I mumbled under my breath. I wasn't sure if he had heard me or not, but he didn't say anything back.

Thankfully, Pedri left the next day for Hamburg, where they were playing Shakhtar in the Champions League, and after putting my girls to bed, I obviously tuned in to watch. It really wasn't Barca's best display, being down 1-0 by half-time. In the 59th minute, my boss came on, looking devilishly handsome as ever and seeing him sweat on the pitch reminded me of seeing him sweat while he fucked the brains out of me - he really was a God in bed. But I had ruined everything myself and now Francisca - that's how Insta girl was called - was going to enjoy that.

But I wasn't going to go down without a fight. The home game against Alavés was at 4 in the afternoon just a few days later, and I showed up with Sofi and Blanca in tow, sitting down on our seats which I had tactically chosen in front of Francisca girl and her friend. Next to me, Coral, Sergi Roberto's wife, arrived with her two kids, Kaia and Dylan.
"Oh hi!" she said excitedly as we greeted each other and the kids started kid-chatting with each other or whatever they were actually telling each other. "Didn't know you would come today!" she chuckled.
"Yeah... Was kind of a last minute decision" I lied and pressed my lips into a fake smile.

Pedri was starting and I followed him with his eyes as he walked out onto the pitch, looking perfect once again.
"There he is!!! He's so hot!!" Francisca behind me squealed and I rolled my eyes. Also the kids waved at the players and Sofi and Blanca were definitely aiming at Pedri, who smiled and shot a small wave back.
"Oh my gosh! He waved at you!" the girl's friend squeaked now.
"He waved at me! I'm totally getting laid later!" she replied and Coral looked at me disturbedly.

I quickly pulled out my notes app and typed something into my phone which I then showed to her.

Pedri's new flame.
I came to check her out and keep an eye on her

Coral read it and then snatched my phone out of her hand to type something herself.

She's a bitch

I laughed at her writing and was about to take my phone back when she pulled it back and type something else.

Who will tell her that Pedri only has eyes for you?

"Surely not" I huffed and grabbed my phone back but she just laughed at me.
"I noticed at our party some months ago. You can't tell me you haven't noticed it too!" she chuckled but I wasn't having it. Had he been that obvious?
"You must have drunk too much" I just told her and she laughed amusedly.

The first half ended with us being 0-1 down and I just hoped that we could pull back in the second half. Sofi and Blanca were happy to have Kaia and Dylan as friends here and I was also happy that I got along well with the Barca mums, even though I wasn't really one of them. Lewandowski shot back one goal, making the score even and in the 78th minute we were awarded a penalty, which he converted into a second one. The kids were screaming "Lewy! Lewy! Lewy!" in ecstasy and Coral and I took photos and videos of them until someone tapped on my shoulder.

"Could you please tell your kids to be quiet? I'm trying to watch a football game" this Francisca girl said when I turned around, leaving me completely baffled - the audacity of this girl.
"You watch with your eyes, not your ears" I fired back before turning around again and I saw Coral next to me putting her head into her bag that was sitting on her lap to hide her hysteric laughter. When Pedri left the pitch in the 81st minute, I decided to annoy Francisca even more and stood up, clapping for him and Carol decided to play along.
"This is so fun! Fighting against the mean girls!" she giggled.
"We're not fighting!" I told her.
"Sure. And you're not in love with Pedri too" she said, seeing straight through me and I just scoffed at her as she seemed to be having the greatest fun.

The game ended with a win for us and we were applauding the team as they did their rounds to thank the fans at the stadium.
"Now I have to find this assistant chick of Pedri - Isa she's called. Ugh" I heard this girl behind me say and I was about to lose it. What the hell had Pedri texted her?! Coral couldn't contain her laughter anymore and howled into my jumper as she leaned in to me.

"I'm Isa, what do you need?" I tried to say as nicely as possible when I turned around.
"What? You?" this girl asked, looking at me as if I was an alien.
"Yes? Is there a problem?" I asked.
"Of course not. Pedri texted me that you have to take me to the changing room so we can meet there." she told me and even showed an Instagram message to prove her point.

Just tell my assistant to bring you downstairs. We can meet at the changing rooms. See ya

Wow, that was a dry message compared to the ones I was getting. Maybe she was just going to be a shag for him after all.
"Sure. We can go in 5" I told her and she just nodded at me with a very arrogant look on her face.
"Have fun" coral giggled as I said goodbye to her and told my daughters to say goodbye to their friends.
"Teenagers..." I sighed, knowing that Pedri and that girl weren't really teenagers anymore, but I wanted to be dramatic.

I signalled at this girl and her friend to follow me as I had each of my daughters by a hand.
"Are we going to see Pedri now, mami?" Sofi asked.
"Maybe, I don't know if we catch him" I replied.
"Pleaseeee mama!" Blanca whined.
"We'll see if he's there already but we have to get home for dinner" I told them strictly.

"Here we are" I told those two bitches as we arrived in the hallway that led to the changing room and they giggled hysterically.
"Hey Isa!" I heard a familiar voice behind me.
"Hola Marcos!" I replied as I greeted my one-time date. We had texted a bit since we went out but I had always pulled an excuse when he asked to meet up again.
"PEDRI!" Blanca shouted as he arrived and my daughters both hugged him.
"Hi Blanca! Hi Sofi! I didn't know you were coming! I would have given you this season's jersey!" Pedri exclaimed as he crouched down and hugged them too, softly stroking their backs. As they loosened the embrace, they ran off to greet Ferran who had already spotted them.

"Hi Isa" he said and greeted me with kisses on both my cheeks, however, making sure that his nose brushed mine as he was switching face sides. What game was he playing?
"Hi Pedri!" Francisca squeaked in the background.
"Oh, hi" he said and nodded at her and her friend, smiling a bit.
"Pedrizz! You brought a girl! Hi, by the way, I'm Marcos, his physio" Marcos now entered the conversation and shook the girls' hands. But I only stared Pedri down, standing firmly with my arms crossed in front of my chest. He was staring back into the depths of my soul and we just couldn't break eye contact.

"You know what! We should totally go on a double date!" Marcos said and clapped his hands at what he probably deemed a great idea. Pedri and I were still staring each other down.
"Oh definitely" we both said in unison.
