Chapter 2: First Mission

The foursome go on their first mission, to Plumeria. Until they get into a little fight with their enemies.

We enter Brightmoon, and I wring my hands nervously. I was worried that the queen wouldn't accept me. Obviously I wasn't from this world, but I wanted to belong somewhere for once.

Glimmer opens the door, waving us in. I step inside, taking in the huge castle. "Wow..." I look over at the equally surprised Adora. She probably has never seen a castle before either.

We are told to wait for her to bring her mother in. I sit on the floor outside, watching as Adora attempted to transform into She-Ra again.

I only can give a thumbs up as she tries and fails. However it hits the horse that we took before, and I watch in shock as he becomes a winged unicorn? 

I hear the queen and Glimmer from behind the wall, and peek my head in through the window. She waves as she sees me, and the queen doesn't notice. Coming back outside, I see no Adora around.

"Shit... Where did she go now?" My eyes narrow. I run off, following the footprints in the ground. I come across an old house. "Uhm, nevermind then."

However I hear soldiers behind me, and see an worried Adora and an old lady hitting them with a broom. The winged horse was captured.

I spot water and bend it into a tentacle, hitting soldiers over the head. I freeze it and watch as they run away. I smirk. Adora was busy transforming into She-Ra, and while that happens, I use my powers secretly to attack.

Looking up, I spot clouds. Raising my hand, I spark lightning in the sky. It strikes the soldiers' camp, and I dash back to a tired She-Ra. "You good bud?" She pants, thumbs up.

"Never been better. C'mon lets go back." We make our way home, and a stunned Queen stares at our arrival. "Ah, you must be She-Ra. And you are?" I stiffen. "Skyelle, ma'am. I'm a friend of their's." She smiles.

"Well, welcome to Brightmoon Skyelle. And for She-Ra, Glimmer told me who you are. I see that you left the Horde behind, for obvious reasons..." Adora laughs nervously. "Yep."

Glimmer gives us a thumbs up, and it makes me happy. I walk up to her. Bow walks up to us. "Did you see that strike of lightning?" I shake my head. "Nope." We all burst into laughter at my one worded answer.

My smile is big as I'm lead to my new room. I gasp. "It's so beautiful. Thanks for letting me stay here again." She bumps my hip with hers. "No prob. You're one of us now."

Closing the door, I open the window. Breathing in the fresh air, I feel nostalgic. I miss my friends and their fun personalities. Sighing, I knew deep down that I'm never leaving.

Queen Angella calls us for a meeting. I cringe when Adora is told that she sat in Glimmer's deceased dad's old chair. She clearly was embarrassed for doing that.

The Queen sits at the head of the table. "Now, you're all probably wondering why I called you here. It's about Plumeria. They've been attacked by the Horde, and need new supplies delivered. Now, any volunteers?"

Glimmer holds her hand up. She sighs. "What is it Glimmer?" She smiles. "How about we do it? We know how to do this." Her mother looks disappointed.

"No Glimmer, you are not allowed to fight." My friend sighs. I stand up, catching their attention. "Well, I know that I have a plan. How about Adora goes as She-Ra, and we deliver the items, and leave, no fighting?"
