Glimmer's still glitching, and Adora heads to the First Ones ruin to find a way to heal her, with Skyelle following her to the ruins for assistance.

I sigh, watching as Glimmer struggles to reach her bed. "Oh! Why did I make my bed so high?" My eyes flick over. "So when will you tell Angella about you glitching?"

She looks up at me. "Hah hah, I don't think that's necessary." My brow furrows. "Alright, whatever you say Glim." It looks like she cracked a smile at the nickname, but I can't tell.

"Guys! Oh hi Skye. I'm glad you're all here." I speak up, "Wha-?" Adora answers. "Now I know that I'm not exactly good at my abilities, but I think I can heal Glimmer."

My arms cross. My eyes widen, then go back to normal. "Alright, you can do whatever you want to do, and I'm staying out of it." With that I turn and walk away.

"What's her problem?" I barely hear what they were saying. I didn't need another Charlotte to try and get me revealed again. Especially after the party that went wrong.

At some point I hear Bow screaming, 'Sword safety!' I just picture a stressed She-Ra trying to point her sword at a equally stressed, glitchy Glimmer. A smile forms at that.

She wasn't doing a great job at hiding what was going on, but the queen was nonethewiser. It felt bad lying to her. Especially when she said I was like a daughter to her...

So what would I do when I see a running Adora exit the castle? And it felt really suspicious? I follow her.

I was pissed. I had awoken at some point, soon getting yelled at for losing the princess. And since I knew She-Ra's real identity, Hordak wasn't happy with my failure.

But of course I had my spies still out. That girl from before. Those radient blue eyes looking angry at me for hurting her friends.

Then suddenly she attacks me, with water.

I knew she was no ordinary human girl. She was hiding something from everyone. But now I know what her weakness may've been.

And I would use that to my advantage...

"Hey, hey. Watcha doing?" Adora stops, turning to me. "Did- did you follow me?" I smirk. "Maybe. What's it to you? I like being nosey."

Her brows furrow. "Hmm, right." I walk past her. "I'm hurt that you wouldn't know me by now. Especially when we live together." Eventually she catches up to me.

"Why did you run off earlier, in Glimmer's room? Is there something wrong?" I sigh. Of course this would be brought up at some point.

"You won't get it..." Yeah. Because I can't get any closer to other people. Not after last summer.

"Try me." She connects our hands, smiling down at them. I cling my hand to my chest. "Besides, I can't be the only untrustworthy one here."

My eyes flick sadly. Then I perk up. "Mind telling me where we're headed?" She laughs. "You were the one to follow me. Not that surprising."

I let out a lighthearted scoff. "Riiiight." Too bad I can't read minds like other mermaids. I know there might some out there that can.

Besides, I missed my girls a lot. Especially how we got along so fluently...
