⚔︎Ψ 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐌𝐲𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 Ψ⚔︎

Clarisse had decided to remain below in the basement to look after Chris, I needed to hurry and get going. I made it to the surface and no longer saw Chiron or Mr. D.

Maybe they came to their senses and realized I wouldn't hurt these kids?

I began walking to the Camp exit when suddenly I heard a "hey!" Clearly nobody else was around so I turned my head to the direction of the voice.

There stood Silena Beauregard, Sebastian's sister, she kept looking back anxiously and came up closer.

"What the hell do you want?" I asked, I was already unnerved by the Demi-Gods here and I wasn't going to be Mrs. nice women.

She sighed and fidgeted with her fingers "he's okay..." she mumbled under her breath and I was confused.

"Huh?"

She blurted out, "Luke." My brows furrowed at her comment, "what? What are you talking about?"

The girl didn't speak, she turned her head to the side and bit her bottom lip anxiously.

I scoffed out, "look Silena I've gotta go. What do you mean by any of that? How would you know anything about, Luke" I whispered his name.

Silena stood her ground as she spoke, "I made a terrible mistake, but I can't do anything because I may hurt my entire cabin, Sebastian...Charlie..."

Confused, I questioned, "who's Charlie?"

Again, she stared at me like I was dumb, "Charles? Beckendorf?" As if I would've put 2 and 2 together.

"You have a crush on Beckendorf?" She blushed at those words as I smiled and she replied, "please...you cannot tell anyone...I know I can trust you...because he said I could..."

She struggled to stay calm but I held her arm and sighed, "relax...tell me..."

Silena looked into my eyes and I felt from just her arm her body began to relax.

"Luke asked me to join him...he said I would be helping his cause, and I was just a stupid little girl with a stupid crush...so I said yes because...because I thought it was smart and I liked him so I thought maybe he could like me back and protect me...but then he met you." She spoke in her soft words.

I stepped back raising my brows, "you came and clearly, he fell head over heels. And do not try to deny it, all of Aphrodite cabin saw. That's why we told Sebastian you would just break his heart." She spat my way angrily.

"That was not my fault." I told her as she laughed in my face, "you used my brother to get over a boy who was still in love with you and yet you destroyed him and I as his sister was able to pick up the pieces, our mom is horrible sometimes you know? It's not exactly easy being the child of a woman who is above everyone in standards. Even we are sometimes doubtful of ourselves..."

Silena and I stood there looking at one another for a few moments.

Guilt had overcome me...I was selfish...I had used Sebastian and he told me it was okay.

But of course...I should've looked the other way and given him distance. Instead all I did was hang around him and ask for friendship.

I am...awful...

I frowned, "I know I made many, many mistakes. But I love Sebastian...I just can't give my heart away in full. I am in love with Luke and that is not a crime nor sin but a feeling that will never go away so why do you still care?" I asked her.
