The fate was sealed for her family.

She feared the day for it to come. She was inside a hospital staring down at the children in the infirmary wing. She smiled at the innocence of them, so precious, full of life.

She could only imagine having another child...cradling it as cooed in her face...but it was a bitter reminder that Zeus would rather take mistresses than her.

The women who could never betray him only led her feelings to boil up within her in envy and rage.

It wasn't until Zeus had Thalia that perhaps she envied all the other Gods for having Demigods... she wanted more but was so loyal to Zeus it would break her own values and truths to betray him.

But as she continued to look at the glass she suddenly jumped at a voice.

"Which of them are yours?" She stood straight and looked at the man.

"Uhm-none of them. I'm here for a friend." The man nodded and looked at Hera with a sad smile, "I'm here for my in-law...sister's first kid."

He spoke with some spite in his voice as Hera simply mentioned, "and that troubles you. Why is that?"

The man chuckled slightly from her words, "how would you know that?"

It wasn't only because Hera heard it in his voice. But she can feel it. Deep within her...it was her instincts of being a Goddess of Marriage and Fertility.

She softly laughed out, "believe me I have had that face once or twice with my own husband... what is on your mind?"

"Well, my wife and I have been trying...for a long time, different treatments, different hospitals and doctors. Nothing...and it's straining our marriage a bit. And now her sister has a child within a year of marriage and well my wife's upset about it." He strained out.

Hera felt a pit of sadness in her, the urge...it swarmed in her to help them. Bless them, give them what they wanted, give the couple a blessing and miracle.

"I'm sorry to hear that, my husband and I have children but believe me...it is a difficult challenge ensuring their safety." Hera argued against children, but the man smiled, "my wife and I have been together since High School, being a mother is her dream...and if anything, out there would be able to bless her with just one child I would give anything just to see her smile. I love her." He muttered with watery eyes.

Hera felt a tear slip down her cheek as he spoke and she looked at him and said, "your wife...what's her name?"

He looked over at the Goddess and spoke, "Meredith. She already had names for our children lined up since we finished High School."

She laughed at his words and asked, "and what might they be?"

The man smiled and explained, "simple enough...for a girl she would name her either Lillian or Priscilla she always goes back and forth on the two because she always had the idea of our first child being a boy." He laughed at the thoughts of his wife.
