𝐈𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐲, Annabeth, Grover and Tyson parted ways with Nico and Hayley to return to camp.

However, with Annabeth being the only one to return to Half-Blood Hill and nothing of Grover, Tyson or Percy up until a short few weeks where the Son of Poseidon emerged...it placed a heavy burden on the group of friends.

Where was Hayley?

Where could she have gone?

Where was she?

All they knew of was what Clarisse was told by Annabeth where they had separated at Eurytions farm along with Nico at her side.

They all had that gut feeling of nervousness, but Damien figured it out all too well.

With the bond they shared, the bond that connected them in several ways then more Damien felt all that pain, felt all that torture and madness that has filled her head over the years, whenever she has nightmares, whenever she's scared or even has felt alone.

He didn't like feeling it one bit but at least feeling that pain was better than...silence

Clarisse was worried and panicked for her best friend in the entire world, first she had the boy she loved so much now in the infirmary where she spent torturous hours begging and pleading with the Gods to fix him.

Eventually Chiron ordered for her to go back to her regular schedule even though all she wanted was the boy she knew who was still in there to be saved, to come back to her.

You had Chris where he was closer to his end, now extremely weak and at his last straws and while he laid there in the back of his mind where the real Chris was before Minos messed with his thoughts was his hopes for his brother to be saved...

Sebastian, while distraught, tried his best not to make it seem like he was still in love with Hayley, he was trying his best to be a good person, to better himself for Isabella to not show that he still cared.

Yet Isabella coped with just setting off some flowers reassuring Sebastian she would never be upset if he admitted his emotions as he was valid, he did love Hayley, he valued and cared for her unlike any girl.

How dare she be upset if he still cared? If he wasn't pining after her and thankfully for Sebastian while he was upset for his former girlfriend.

Alex just watched Isabella mourn while no one was looking, worried for Hayley being stuck in the labyrinth forever with no hope of return. Laying out some flowers on the ground hoping that perhaps when they bloomed, she would return.

But with that having to hear her mother's own words echo in her mind giving her signs as soon as her flowers would bloom, they would die off. Clearly her mother was angered by her choice of men, that she gave her heart away to a boy she was forbidden to love.

She hated it and Alex tried to plead with his mother in soft prayers but all he got was...

Do not mess up my perfect boy...

He enjoyed his mother's attention and yet it still broke him to know the person he shared his entire life with was being punished for something she innocently wanted and while he didn't enjoy the pair either, still weary over Sebastian...

His sister was what he truly loved more than life itself, and he would do anything to make her happy even if it meant disobeying the mother he tried every day to gain the attention of.
