⚔︎Ψ 𝐀 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫 Ψ⚔︎

𝐈𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞; summer was approaching quickly, and I tried my best to keep my spirits up. It was difficult though having to return into the zone of zero friends, zero life...I mean I guess I did have Sebastian, but it didn't feel great since I chose Luke.

Not like there was competition, no offense to Sebastian. And I was trying to get him into Isabella, but the dude just won't budge. I mean I guess there is some correlation between one another if you really think about it.

Aphrodite was the entire reason Hades fell for Demeter's precious child Persephone, kind of crazy to think that she is related to Isabella and Alex.

Anyways, after saying Hades wouldn't cheat but found comfort with the mother of Nico and the late Bianca it's no surprise there may be some weariness that Aphrodite while being the goddess of love would caution her son to be near a child of Demeter.

She probably thinks it's all a ploy to get revenge, but I doubt Isabella would ever harm a fly, literally.

I was with my mom and Thomas, still hesitant of calling him Tom or dad...ugh...still doesn't sound good at all.

We drove deep into upstate New York. Somewhere called Endicott? EndiCut? I don't know. I don't prefer upstate, I'm more of a city girl.

Thomas had parked the car in front of a huge house and my mom, and I got out looking at the estate and he smiled, slipping his hands into his summer shorts all confident.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" He asked us as we looked at him. If you were wondering if Thomas thought my new appearance of a blind eye & a white streak in my hair was weird, you'd be correct.

But he doesn't know, my mom and I decided I wasn't ready to tell him at all and so I told him the white strand of hair was because I bleached it, and I was able to use brown contacts to cover the white eye.

Some makeup was there to cover the scar but overall, it looked okay.

"Yes, it is beautiful Thomas, why are we here again? You made me take time off y'know?" My mom warned him as I laughed under my breath as he nodded.

"I was hoping with the permission of both of you, to think about...moving here one day?" He suggested with some worry in his voice.

My mom and I looked at each other in silence.

We were in the middle of the forest with practically nothing for miles but all we heard were the birds chirping in the distance.

He took in a deep breath and clarified, "of course Hayley can finish school first but maybe after? We can truly move in and be a family instead of just waiting around?"

I gulped slightly as I looked over to my mom as she smiled at him, "it's a great idea but I would like to stay close to Hayley, she is my daughter and since I know her, she wouldn't want to live somewhere like here...right?"

My eyes met hers as my eyelashes glanced back and forth from Thomas to the house.

It was beautiful and large...it would be perfect to grow old in a type of house in the middle of nowhere and just to keep to oneself.

I would live to see the house used one day, but I wouldn't have expected how...

"We could go in. Take a look around?" I told my mom as she gave me a confused look.

I was giving hope to something Thomas wanted. It was strange in her thoughts and even I knew it was out of character, but I went ahead and followed Thomas.
