"It's in my room, remember? You're the one who charged it," Gordon replied from the kitchen, where he was washing the dishes.
Rushing upstairs, I shouted my thanks before entering Gordon's room. As I spotted my phone, I noticed his skateboard nearby, sparking a clever idea.
"Gordon," I said in a low tone, catching his attention as he stood with crossed arms, “what's with that tone?”
"Can we go to the park? I really want to learn some new tricks," I suggested to Gordon.
"Remember what happened last time when I taught you a trick, and I put you on the edge of the skate park, and you fell because of your clumsiness," Gordon reminded me of a past mishap.
In response, I attempted to protest, but Gordon promptly interjected, "Oh yeah, how many months did it take you to recover?"
"1 month," I admitted in a subdued tone.
"Exactly, your stunt even did your running scene that time, no, your stunt was the one did your scenes" Gordon emphasized, Just as our conversation unfolded, Gordon's phone interrupted us,

Gordon:
Yeah why?
Dallas:
Well you both must come here rn because shit is about to happen
Lizzy:
You both want ice cream right??
Kia:
Were at the [location]
"Ice cream, huh?" Gordon remarked in a confused tone as of the ice cream caught his attention.
Turning back to him, I inquired, "Wait, did you say ice cream?"
Our eyes widened as a realization dawned upon us - they were discussing the ice cream competition that Gordon and I had talked about the previous week. It took us a moment to connect the dots and understand the context of the conversation.

Upon our arrival, we spotted Lizzy energetically waving at us, signaling her excitement

Curious, I responded, "What?"
"Guess who arrived first?" Ian hinted playfully.
"You, maybe?" I guessed.
"It's me, girl," Lizzy proclaimed, swaying her hair and hands with a supermodel-like flair. "Early bird catches the ice cream first," she joked, setting a lively and competitive tone for the ice cream festivities.
As we all gathered, the manager spoke up, presenting a challenge, "So, does anyone want to compete? No one has ever finished a big bowl in 5 minutes."
