"am I really in love?"

"maybe the time was the reason why I thought I was at the wrong person"

"maybe the time was the reason why I thought I was at the wrong person"

After a satisfying meal, my dad reached for a Red Horse beer from the fridge and settled back into his chair, enjoying the relaxing evening. Lizzy, catching sight of the beverage, exclaimed, "No way, redhorse my favorite!"

Intrigued, Dad placed the bottle back down and inquired, "Have you tried this before?" Lizzy nodded, sharing, "yes, I once tried it when we visited Gordon's grandparents"

Dallas, with a playful gleam in his eyes that belied his youthful appearance, turned towards my dad and inquired, "can we now open it?"

As my dad chuckled and opened the Red Horse beer, the sound of the bottle cap popping filled the room with a sense of relaxation and camaraderie. Just then, my mom approached me and placed a set of keys in my hand, instructing me, "use the 6 rooms because your dad, sister and I will head to your brother's house to celebrate their house warming party tonight"

Feeling a hint of disappointment at being unable to join the celebration, I pouted and remarked, "To bad I can't go there"

Sensing my mood, my mom leaned in, gently kissing me on the cheek and whispering, "love you, honey" With a soft smile, I whispered back, "love you to mom" cherishing the moment of affection between us.

As my mom stood up to leave, I called out, "give kuya (brother) my gratitude mom" She nodded in acknowledgement as she holds my sister's hand and my sister bid goodbye to all of us

As dad held a glass filled with Red Horse beer, poised to take a sip, my mom intervened by playfully pinching his ear and exclaiming, "stop drinking! You're the one who's driving the car today" Dad let out a groan of protest, looking back at us with a slightly disappointed expression as his plans for a leisurely drink were foiled by mom's reminder of his role as the designated driver.
