The evening air was alive with the sound of music, the rhythmic beat pulsating through the clearing where the full moon party was in full swing. Despite the rationed food, the atmosphere was charged with energy as pack members laughed, danced, and mingled together.
Lucille and Declan stood side by side, observing the festivities with a shared sense of contentment. Each held a drink in hand, the warmth of the liquid contrasting with the cool night air. Lucille glanced at Declan, her expression thoughtful.
"Was this a good idea?" Iasked quietly, my gaze drifting over the joyful faces of their pack.
Declan turned to me, a soft smile gracing his lips. "I believe it was," he replied, his voice carrying above the music. "Even in difficult times, moments like this help keep the spirits of our pack high. They need this sense of community, of unity."
I nodded, my eyes following the dancers as they moved gracefully to the music. '"Should we discuss the fertility issue?" I inquired.
Declan pondered for a moment before responding, "I suppose we should, but I don't want to make you feel pressured. At the moment, our priority needs to be dealing with the cursed threat looming over our pack."
I took a sip of her drink, the cool liquid soothing against her throat. "I understand," I murmured, my thoughts drifting back to their earlier conversation about the fertility treatment.' ''I was a bit surprised of your offer, so I maybe have overracted. I'm just not comfortable with the idea.''
His expression softened as he placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "We'll figure it out," he said gently. "But for now, let's enjoy this moment together."
I nodded, a small smile tugging at the corning of my mouth. He leaned in, his warm breath mingling with mine, and claimed my lips tenderly.
Eventually, after making out for a minute, we turned our attention towards Abel and Joshua, who were dancing in the distance with uninhibited enthusiasm. The sight brought a smile to my face, and I couldn't help but chuckle at their antics.
"They seem to be enjoying themselves," I remarked, her eyes twinkling with amusement.
Declan nodded, his own lips curving into a grin. "They always find a way to lighten the mood," he agreed, his gaze fond as he watched his pack members revel in the moment.
I handed her drink to Declan and then moved gracefully towards Abel and Joshua, who were beckoning me to join them on the dance floor. I felt a rush of exhilaration as I stepped into the midst of their lively dance, the music enveloping me in its infectious rhythm.
Abel grinned at her as they danced, his movements fluid and effortless. "Glad you could join us, Lucy!" he exclaimed, his voice full with excitement.
I laughed, feeling the tension of the evening melt away in the joyful abandon of the moment. "Wouldn't miss it for the world," I replied, matching their steps with an energy of her own. Together, they twirled and swayed beneath the moonlit sky, lost in the euphoria of the music and the camaraderie that surrounded them. I always loved a good party or bonfire.
I danced with the other members too, some adressing me as Luna too. Most were starting to warm up to me. It felt great, but still strange.

Declan's POV
Declan stood a little apart from the crowd, leaning against a tree as he watched his pack members revel in the festivities. The music filled the air, and laughter echoed through the clearing, painting a scene of joy and unity that warmed his heart.
His attention was drawn away from the dancing figures by the approach of Nova, her presence a subtle interruption in the tranquil night. A small thrill fluttered through him at her proximity, even as he reminded himself of his commitment to Lucille.
