Tuesdays are always troublesome. Mirae has to juggle her way to their first practical carrying a couple of things in her two feeble hands and climbing six flight of stairs to reach their class. The second practical is also a no slacker class as the professor have made Mirae the CR for his subject. The third lecture was also no better for it was Prof. Shin's class and that woman left no stone unturned to spew sarcastic comments towards her.
"I don't wanna go today," Mirae was staring idly towards the wall after just waking up from her sleep. "I don't wanna go today!"
Sinae looked at her way while selecting clothes from her closet and gave her a dissatisfied look. "If you don't wanna go, then don't go Mirae."
Mirae laid back on the mattress hugging her pillow tight. "But its Tuesday."
Sinae shook her head, as if already done with that episode of hers. "Then you should go."
Tuesdays were the only days where Mirae's and Seungmin's schedules were almost parallel to each other, and Mirae's classes were held in the Life Science building.
Even though it was just a look that she'd get of him while moving classes after every lecture of hers, she was highly satisfied with just that. Given the fact that Seungmin had a girlfriend, she did not even wanted to get to know him or be friends with him. She just wanted to watch him from afar.
"Look look look there's your guy in yellow sweats-" Mirae slapped Hyunjin's mouth close and dragged him all over to the staircase. This guy was a nuisance. But also her only friend in their class.
Hyunjin and her became good friends a month ago because of a project they had to do together in their minor, which they accidentally shared. It was all co-incidence because partners were to be chosen through a chit system, and luckily she had him in her chit.
She never told anyone besides Sinae about her crush on Seungmin, but Hyunjin just knew.
"It's pretty obvious. The way you look at him."
He said like it was the most natural thing in the world. But the reality was that it wasn't. She should get over her "small" crush on Seungmin as fast as she can because him and Bora are like the star couple of the university.
She was on the cheerleading team already while Seungmin had secured a position in the university's baseball team, and it has just been four months since session started.
After seeing Bora, Mirae became very sure that she never stood a chance from the beginning. She was nowhere as pretty as she was.
Mirae's small un-noticable brown eyes looked just like rocks compared to Bora's chocolate colored doe shaped eyes that shone in the sunlight and became hazel. Her black hair was not as groomed and silkened like Bora's golden brown were. She also didn't possess any feature that made her stand out while Bora had it all, a tall figure, hourglass shape, insanely pretty eyes, a mole under her nose. Everything about her was perfection.
Mirae wasn't insecure, now that she had nothing to do with Seungmin. She was just excusing herself from the scenario because of these reasons. So it was all fair at the end. And it would've never turned positively according to what she was wanting.
"So that day, the girl I told you about, she was there at the club okay," Hyunjin, taking a piece of bread from the plate started accounting about another rendezvous of his to Mirae. "She was drunk, I was drunk as well and you know when you're drunk and you're dancing and then you look at someone and get this sudden urge to kiss them? Yeah so basically, she had that urge and kissed me!"
Mirae looked up from her lecture notes on history of architecture, disinterested, at his face. He wore a face of horror. "So she kissed you but you did not want to be kissed?"
