"Am I looking fine?" Mirae asked Sinae who was playing Pokemon Go in her mobile phone.
"Fine?" Sinae squeezed her eyes. "You look amazing honey! That Australian prule would be so head over heels for you I'm telling you!"
She stood infront of the mirror after hearing the shower of compliments from Sinae and to be honest, Sinae was a girl's girl. She would never say it to her face. Mirae knew she was the most average looking girl that existed in Korea. But still, since the guy she was meeting, Felix, was an Australian, she had to show up dressed coolly. That was the least she could do, even though this was all her Plan B.
"Why didn't you wear that pink dress you brought last week Mirae?" Sinae asked her as Mirae was applying perfume.
Mirae took a look at the mirror for one last time and then looked back at Sinae, "Does this not look good?"
She did not put A LOT of efforts on what she needs to wear for her date with Felix, but a casual pair of blue jeans and a white shirt is the get-go for every first date ever. So she didn't mind it. And regarding the pink dress, she just didn't want to wear it to meet a guy she randomly stumbled upon on a dating app.
"No, you look great. Now off you go! You'll be late otherwise." Sinae waved her hands at Mirae who rushed outside putting on her heels.

Lee Felix. Age 20. Light blonde hair and an unnecessarily good-looking face.
She was having visions of falling for this guy in a parallel universe, because she had already met Seungmin in this one. He looked extra hot in that black shirt he was wearing along with the black pants.
"We had a seminar today in our uni," He scratched his head smiling foolishly when asked why he was dressed so formally. "I didn't wanted to cancel on you so I came directly from the seminar."
He had a very heavy Australian accent. She has heard Sinae's friend, who also happens to be an Australian, while she was speaking to him on the phone, but this guy was on a completely different level.
He said that he has spent his entire life in Sydney and just recently moved to Seoul for uni. "My parents said the Job-Market in Korea is far better than in Australia."
Mirae smiled and replied, "The pay is way lesser than your home country though."
She didn't expect him to know anything about Korean barbeque, but he was doing just well. "You are too good in this for a foreigner."
Felix laughed, "Don't think of me as a foreigner, I'm a Korean too."
She was starting to smile at his words, a sign for herself that she is liking him. When the waiter came back he ordered two more servings, because Miras wasn't full yet, along with a bottle of soju.
Mirae cocked her head and he realised as soon as the waiter left, "Oh Shit," He clicked his tongue. "It has become a bad habit now."
Mirae shook her head, laughing. "I'll just take a few sips. It's my first time." She was nervous drinking with a complete stranger, but then again, this was her first date ever with any guy. She'd had to drink for the first time one day anyways.
Upon asking Felix about the famous band from their uni she was a fan of, he told her how they were just a bunch of losers who steal songs from the talented people in their college. Since Felix was from the Music and Arts department, he was warned about them the very first day. Mirae's jaw dropped hearing this and Felix just chuckled and said, "If I get to perform in our fest this year, I'll invite you for sure."
Mirae nodded as he pushed forward his fist. Till now, she was having a pretty good time and Felix did not seem like an idiot to her in any manner. He was talking sensibly and in a mature way, just like the people of his age should do. On top of it, he was studying music. What more traits should he be having to certify him as a green flag?
