"Hyunjin, my God. You can't even stand straight!" Mirae exasperated as she walked the road up with Hyunjin clung onto her shoulders. Man was drunk till his teeth and was blabbering rubbish.

He shook his head, falling on his fours as Mirae slapped her forehead. "I will save you Mirae!"

"I am the one saving you," She mumbled. The rain had stopped, but the strong gushes of wind were still blowing harshly. She tried to pull him up again but to no avail, he was stronger than she thought. Actually, she never even thought of him as strong. Maybe because she never saw those hard biceps since he always wore big baggy shirts to college contrary to the sleeveless sweats he was wearing right now.

But yeah, he did save her from dying from pneumonia. She had no idea how he managed to come to get her in this drunken state. He gave her time to cry and as soon as she stopped crying he began to drool. It was just as if he switched off his hormones for a few minutes. Whatever it was, she was still thankful to her saviour of the night, Hwang Hyunjin.

As they arrived in her apartment, Mirae quickly took out her phone and silently prayed to God for it to not be dead. Her prayers were granted, but it was no good since she could see missed calls from her warden. She called her.

"Hello, Mam--"

"Jung Mirae! Come back this second!"

Mirae gasped hearing her warden shout through the phone. She was definitely getting expelled this time. Without any time to think, she mustered the easiest excuse she could get. "Mam I'm with Sinae... You know her grandmother is in the hospital so..."

The receiver end went silent for a few seconds. She hoped the warden would've died. But then the weird irritated voice bellowed from the other side again, "If I don't find your application on my desk before 9 am tomorrow, you'll be suspended."

She wasn't glad about it, but she had to spend the night at Hyunjin's apartment.

Hyunjin suggested that she go inside and hand the letter to her warden and he would wait for her. It was 8.45 am in the morning, three hours before their lecture should start. The warden doesn't need to know that though. Mirae was just glad she got away this time as well, but the woman made it clear that it'd be the last time.

She trod back to the hostel gate, thinking about what should she do to kill time.

"You're not going back," Hyunjin crossed his arms. "I'll get bored! I came here early in the morning sacrificing my sleep."

Mirae sighed, "Fine! But what do we do!?"

"I don't know? Firstly, let's eat something." Mirae couldn't say no to this because the last thing she remembered having was a cheeseburger in the ice rink. That was almost 14 hours ago.

"How did you find me yesterday?" Mirae finally asked Hyunjin, now that they weren't in a hurry or preoccupied. Hyunjin put away his phone.

Shoving his hands inside his pockets, he said, "I couldn't hear you and you abruptly cut off the phone so I panicked. I thought something happened, so I traced your location."

Mirae crossed her eyebrows, "How?"

"There's this friend of mine who's a Computer Science student. He knows stuff like these so I asked him for help." He shrugged, "I had to pay him though."

"I'm so sorry," Mirae's heart fell hearing that. While she had been thinking how everyone leaves her when she needs them, there were people who actually cared about her.

"You don't have to be sorry Mirae. It wasn't your fault. I should say sorry, I got you into trouble." Hyunjin clicked his tongue. "But man, I was so scared."
