Cas leaned into Dean's hug. He had held this in for so long and he didn't realize how much weight it came with until it was lifted from his shoulders. It had felt like 50 pounds suddenly vanished leaving a soft feeling deep in Cas' chest. Dean gave Cas a squeeze before he let go. He stood up and pretended to yawn so he could rub his eyes and look like he wasn't on the verge of crying. He cleared his throat then said,

 "Sammy, is there more bacon?"

It seemed a little to quiet in the kitchen for two boys, well for Gabriel. There was a sudden sound of objects falling and Gabriel snickering then Sam replied, his stuttered,

"N-no, Cas f-finished the plate off." Then he cleared his throat.

"What's going on in there and what fell?" Dean said as he approached the kitchen.

Cas got up and followed curious of what the two were doing that would make Sam stutter and see what mess Gabriel probably made. When they walked in they saw the boys in the opposite sides of the kitchen both faces red and soapy wet silverware on the floor. Sam's hands were covering his mouth.

"What happened?" Dean asked while picking up the silverware from the ground then tossing them back into the sink.

Cas had a good idea on what happened. Gabriel had been talking about Sam allot but he'd never thought Gabe would do it. Sam just shook his head and looked down at the sink then continued to wash the dishes. Cas followed as Gabe walked out of the kitchen as fast as he could. As Gabe entered the living room, he spotted the couch where he decided he would lay, face down in a pillow. He let out a sigh.

"So, what happened?" Cas questioned while he sat down next to him and rubbed his back.

"I kissed Sam." He muffled into the pillow.

"Ohh? And let me guess, he pushed you away." Cas replied softly knowing how painful this may seem to a boy who doesn't let his emotions get to him easily. He would normally make a funny joke about the person or just get angry but he was crying and silent. He nodded then shifted to look at Cas. His champagne eyes and cheeks were stained red and filled with tears.

"Maybe you just caught him off guard or something? I think you might want to give him time." Cas said as he got up.

Gabriel shifted his face back into the pillow allowing more tears to soak it. He closed his eyes while taking a staggered breath.

"Sam, what happened?" Dean questioned as he threw paper towels down to soak up the water on the floor.

"N-nothing, I just dropped some silverware and ..." He placed a bowel on the counter.

Dean could clearly see that he didn't just drop silverware and that there was so much more to the story than what Sam was letting on.

"Ohh, I see and so you just covered your mouth to see if the new dish soap tasted better than the other one?" Sam stopped for a second and placed the fork down back into the water. He placed his hands on the sides of the sink and gave a sigh then he turned to face Dean,

"What do you want me to say? Huh? That I like to eat soap or that the fork didn't just fall out of my hands onto the ground or that he kissed me and ran to the other side of the room?" Sam waved his hands, soap flying onto the ground, the walls, and even on Dean.

The last part caught Dean off guard. He could tell Sam was confused and didn't know how he was supposed to feel about it.

"Ohh." was all Dean could say. He didn't know how to fix this or if it even needed fixed.Sam walked off to his room and slammed his door. After Dean heard the slam he walked over to the sink and added more hot water to keep the temperature warm then finished the dishes. Cas walked into the kitchen just as Dean finished the dishes,

"Did he tell you what happened?" Cas questioned

"He sorta did then ran off to his room." He sighed as he ran his hand through his hair and leaned against the counter.

"He's probably confused, maybe you should go talk to him?"

"No, I will let him work this out on his own. He already ran off as soon as I questioned him. How's Gabriel?"Cas sighed,

"He's hurt. I think he really liked Sam and is now afraid that Sam is going to hate him and never speak to him again."

"Well, if someone were to randomly kiss me and then run off, I think I'd be a little upset and confused." Dean shot.Cas sighed irritably.

"What?"

"You don't need to be angry, that doesn't solve anything."

"I'm sorry. I want to help him but I can't if he won't talk and there is nothing I can do for him really." Dean studied the tile on the floor, trying to figure out how he could help Sam.

"Dean?" a weak voice came from the door way along with a sniffle.Dean looked up to see a poofy red faced Gabriel.

"Yeah?"

"C-can I talk to you?" He stutteredDean looked at Cas then walked out to talk to Gabriel.Dean sat on the couch, arms resting on the top and legs crossed,

"What did you want to talk about?"

"I-I just w-wanted to apologize for everything and that you and Sam don't have to worry about me anymore. I will leave you guys alone." Gabriel focused on his hands that were clasped together.

"You don't have to do that."

Gabriel shot his head up,"What?"

"Things will be okay, they will be awkward for a while but you don't have to just up and leave, that's not smart."

"Ohh." He looked down again.

"I think you and Sam need to talk about what happened that way you both understand what happened."

"Right."Silence filled the room for a minute.

"What are you waiting for?" Dean questioned

"Huh? Now?"

 "Well yeah!"

Gabriel reluctantly got up and headed up to Sam's room and knocked on his door.

"Who's there?"

Gabriel cleared his throat,"It's me."

Sam opened the door then walked to his bed and sat down. Gabriel walked in and stood.

"Can you close the door?" Sam asked as he crossed his legs.

"Oh, yeah." Gabriel closed the door then continued to stand.

"Hey, I'm sorry." He apologized.

"It's okay. Just...Don't do it again, please." Sam replied.

Gabriel kept silent.

"Hey, do you want to play Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2?" Sam held out a controller.

"Uhh, Yeah."

A few hours passed, Dean walked to Sam's room and opened the door. He saw the two boys sleeping, they were sleeping on their backs, their shoulders touching along with their heads. Dean slowly closed the door, trying to keep silent. He backed into Cas, not knowingly and almost yelled. Cas chuckled and whispered,

"Are they sleeping?"

"Yeah."

They quietly walked to the living room. Cas sat down on the couch while Dean went into the kitchen to get a beer.

"Do you want a beer?"

"Sure."

Dean walked in and handed one to Cas then turned on the TV before he sat down. The Little Rascals was on. Cas scooted over to cuddle with Dean. He lifted his legs and laid them on top of Dean's. Come the end of the movie, Cas was sleeping on Dean's shoulder. His beer barely drunk out of. It was slipping out of his right hand and just before it fell Dean grabbed it, slightly waking Cas.

"Hmm?"

"You about dropped your drink." He chuckled waving it then took a sip.

"Oh." He grumbled as he shifted his position so he was facing the side of Dean's neck and fell back to sleep.
