As soon as Dean and Sam got home, Sam went straight for the shower like Dean had said while Dean sat on the couch thinking about how he could do something about this situation. Dean's cellphone rang, as he went to check it, he didn't recognize the number but decided to answer it.

“Hello?” He asked in an irritated voice.

“H-Hey, may I talk to D-Dean?” the voice asked in a whisper.

“I am Dean, who is this?”

“I-It's Castiel.”

“CAS! How are you and why are you whispering?” Dean asked

“I- I need you to come g-get me. I'm at some weird shop near the hospital. Please come quick.”

“Wha- Cas why are you not in the hospital?”

“J-Just come get me, I will e-explain later.” Cas said as he hung up the phone.

“SAM,I'M GOING OUT FOR A WHILE. I WILL BE RIGHT BACK.” Dean yelled as he grabbed his keys and ran out the door to his car. He sped to where the hospital was then drove around slowly looking for Cas. Dean was filled with panic but he wasn't going to let that show. Every possible situation that could cause Cas to get hurt or killed was running through Dean's head. He had to try to quiet his thoughts and focus on finding Cas.

He finally saw Cas standing by a telephone, which he probably called from. All he was wearing was the gown the hospital provided him with and he didn't look good. He looked really sick. Dean stopped and unlocked the doors to let Cas get into the car. As soon as Cas started to walk towards the car, he stumbled. Dean quickly got out of the car and tried to help him but he pushed Dean off him.

“I-I got this.” He struggled to get out.

“Are you sure?” Dean asked in a worried voice.

Cas made it to the car door. Dean opened it helping Cas in then ran to the driver's side.

“Where are you wanting to go?”

“Anywhere but the hospital.” Cas said as he buried his head into his legs.

Dean could see his back, the whiteness of his skin, the ripples where his spine is, and bruises from earlier. He reached over and rubbed his back, trying to avoid touching the bruises. Cas' head shot up and he looked at Dean. His face was red and Dean could tell that he was trying not to cry. Dean quickly pulled his hand away thinking that he hurt him.

“Sorry.” Dean mumbled

“For what?” Cas asked

“Hurting you.” He answered

“You didn't.” Cas continued to stare at Dean for the next few minutes.

Dean put the car into gear and started to drive.

“So, where do you live?” Dean asked

Cas kept silent. Dean waited a few more seconds before he asked again.

“Go left.” He finally replied.

Dean followed his directions as they came to an apartment next to a strip club. Dean sat there in confusion. Did he really live here? The place was falling apart and not to mention it was also on the 'wrong part of town'.

“Why are we here?” Dean asked

“Because.... I live here.” He said ashamed.

As he began to open the car door Dean reached over and grabbed his arm. Cas turned to face him.
