In the morning Erika woke up to Ryan spooning her in his sleep, one arm draped around her waist the other cradling her hand. Marissa was awake, Seth was on the floor asleep and Summer was asleep still on the bed.
Marissa smiled sadly at Erika before walking into the bathroom, soon after Erika drifted back to sleep. When she woke again it was just her and Ryan in the room, turning over she poked his nose softly "hey...wake up" she whispered, watching her tired blue eyes open "Hey" he whispered roughly.
When the three others returned back to the hotel room Erika motioned outside to Marissa, which she complied to. Now outside, Erika turned to her friend, "Are you okay?" she inquired "My dad moved out, they're getting a divorce" Marissa said tearing up, "Aw Riss im sorry" She said reaching forward and bringing her into a hug, "Its okay, i just want to have a good weekend" Marissa smiled, lacing her arm through erika's and walking back into the motel room.
While they were on the road to Tijuana, Marissa spoke up "everyone is probably at Boom Boom'' Erika gasped "I love boom boom!" Erika cheered, Summer paused. "Oh , just let me run into the pharmacy. You can get whatever you want without a prescription. I need to make a pitstop for my stepmom. I guess she's already taking all the painkillers available in Orange County." she told them "Seriously she asked you. After I said no?" Erika grumbled watching summer shrug.
The five of them after making a pit stop at the pharmacy entered Boom Boom, grabbing some drinks from the bar and they continued to make their way to the dance floor. Finding Luke and Holly making out was not what they were expecting. Luke spots Marissa and pulls away from Holly staring at her in horror "what are you doing?" Marissa asked, tearing up, "I-I'm sorry" Luke stumbled forward, "what, you got caught?" she snapped, turning towards holly "don't talk to me ever." She spat, crossing her arms.
Summer glared at Holly "You're such a bitch!" She yelled "Please, he hooks up with everyone" Holly scoffed "shut up" Luke mumbled "freshmen girls, girls from modern day, girls from UCI.." Holly listed "Is that true?" Marissa cried "Marissa! Everyone knows! Everyone! Now you do too!" Holly groaned as Marissa left crying "You're so mean!" Summer yelled at her. Holly stepped into Summer's face "Im honest" Holly sassed, pushing summer back "Her parents are getting divorced!" Summer yelled, pushing Holly back, stumbling into seth. Erika, having enough steps between the two, "don't push her slut." she said, slapping Holly, then being pulled back by Ryan. "They suffer from rage blackouts" Seth said, trying to haul summer away.
Luke steps up to get to the twins when Ryan blocks his way "Get out of my way" he glared trying to push past Ryan who had enough and punched him in the face, sending him stumbling into some random man. Causing a fight to break out.
Leaving the club, they couldn't find marissa outside. "Me and Sum will go search the hotel'' Erika suggested "We'll check the street." Ryan agreed as they split off into groups of two.
In the hotel Erika and Summer split up, Erika going to look for Marissa in the dining room and Summer looking in their hotel room.
Her phone ringing stopped her from walking to the front desk "Did you find her?" Erika questioned, "Yea get up here, fast." Summer said worriedly. Erika raced through the halls until she found the elevator and went up to their room.
She met up with Ryan and Seth outside the door which swung open summer stepping out "She's gone and she took our stepmom's painkillers" she said, twisting her hair. "We gotta find her." Erika turned running back towards the elevator.
The group of four looked all over the streets for marissa and it wasn't until erika waked ahead of the group a little but did she see someone laying in a dark alley, rushing forwards erika recognized it as marissa, dropping down beside marissa she turns her on her side and shoves her fingers into marissa's mouth making the girl gag until she pukes out some of the pills she took.
Ryan is on the phone with an ambulance and Summer is crying into Seth's shoulder.
