Erika had spent the night at the hospital with Marissa and Jimmy; she slept in an uncomfortable chair, hunched over Marissa's bed holding her hand.
Hearing a knock at the hospital door she sprung up, Sandy and Kirtsen Cohen were at the door "Hey" Sandy greeted barely audible "Hey" Jimmy stood, to shake his hand "She uhh just fell asleep but she was aware and awake...thanks for uh calling the hospital...finding her if they hadn't airlifted her out she uhh'' Jimmy trailed off glancing at Ryan ''When can she go home?" Sandy questioned "Uhh they said in a-in a day or so, they wanna keep her under observation" Jimmy nodded sadly "Hospital policy" Kirsten whispered.
Julie cooper entered the room "So I guess there's no need to worry right...I mean a teenage girl palms a dozen pain killers and washes it down with tequila...it's perfectly normal right" She said eyeing kirsten "What Marissa needs right now is to be with her family...no visitors" She continued Ryan and Seth stared at Erika unsurely watching her get up and grab her purse from the floor "Oh not you sweetheart, you'refamily you know that" Julie gestured for Erika to sit back down.
After going home reluctantly and showering, Erika had returned to the hospital and sat in her seat next to Marissa.
Jimmy and Julie were in the hallway arguing when Marissa began to stir "Hey Ris" She whispered Marissa tried to speak before gesturing to her water next to her, leaning over she grabbed the water and handed it to her.
Erika brushed a piece of Marissa's hair out of her face "can you get me out of here please?" Marissa pleaded "I'm gonna need to make a call" Erika agreed "She's trying to send me away" Marissa confessed "The shrink is coming to evaluate me" She added "Okay i'm gonna call Summer and she's gonna get seth and ryan we can come up with a plan" Erika said, walking into the hall and dialling Summer's number.
When the lady evaluating Marissa got there, Erika went to sit in the hallway.
When the evaluator left, Erika snuck back in and filled Marissa in on the plan her and summer had come up with, "I'm sure Ryan's going to enjoy seeing you in your candy striper outfit" she teased "Shut up!" Erika laughed, stopping when Ryan entered the room holding the candy striper outfits marissa grabbed hers and ran into the bathroom.
Erika grabbed hers as well. "Don't look'' She groaned "Nothing I haven't seen" Ryan teased "Oh you know what youre right!" she exclaimed unbuttoning her pants "W-what are you doing?" He turned quickly "Nothing you haven't seen before right?'' Erika hummed shimming out of her jeans laughing when Ryan went into the hallway in a flustered state.
After Marissa and Erika were dressed they met Ryan in the hallway "You guys ready?" He asked avoiding eye contact with Erika "yeah lets go" erika said turning around then froze "what are you doing here" she spat "Go away Luke" Marissa glared "i Just wanted to see you, i'm so so sorry for everything" He apologised "yeah that's what you said in mexico" she crossed her arms defensively "that was a mistake" Luke teared up "no kidding" Marissa quipped "why are you dressed like that" He said, eyes roaming over her clothes.
Seth came running up to them "Your mom and doctor are on the move" he said, side eyeing luke "You're running away" Luke asked incredulously "Luke please" Marissa stepped forwards, frowning when Luke back up and glanced down the hallway "You should take the stairs" He mumbled watching the four take off down the hall.
After taking Erika's tiny car that they all somehow managed to squeeze into, they arrived at Jimmy's apartment. Knocking on the door the five stood there and watched as Jimmy's confused face changed into one of shock. "Hey dad" Marissa greeted shyly "What are you doing here? Does your mom know about this?'' He shot off question after question. The other four backed away slowly "were gonna go wait in the car" Seth muttered as the four walked back down the hallway.
Giving the father daughter duo some space they decided to get pizza, "hey you guys were like the breakfast club!" Seth exclaimed "oh god" Erika groaned dramatically "Think about it seriously! Ryan is john bender the bad boy, Marissa is Andrew Clark the jock, Summer is Allison, youre claire and im brian" He exclaimed "I'm not Allison!'' Summer grumbled "details" Seth waved her off.
After arriving back at the cohens house with Marissa they managed to convince Julie that Marissa should stay in newport.
Summer and Erika managed to make it home with only one stop for chinese food.
