Hey there my lovely readers 😊 I know that I had made you all wait for this chapter for long- too long. I am extremely sorry for that. I was so caught up with my college life that I couldn't get enough time to write. Both my college life and personal life were messed up and I was busy sorting it out. It's so difficult maintaining everything when you are in a medical field. I hope you guys understand my turmoli🥺. I wanted to complete this book as soon as possible because I can't hurt your feelings by making you guys wait for updates but I don't want to rush and finish the story without a proper climax and all. I will try my best to offer you a good reading experience amidst the mess I had created in my life🤗.

Arohi was lying unconscious near grandma's lifeless form, her whole body covered with blood. Seeing her in this condition, Kabir misunderstood that someone killed her too along with his grandma and Primo. He rushes to her and caresses her face, "Come on, mon chéri, open your eyes... You can't leave like this!!"

Vikram's eyes welled with tears, "We lost both of them... Grams and Primo... Whoever did this will regret a lot!!"

Kabir's eyes welled up with tears as he gazed at Arohi's lifeless form. He had lost all hope, thinking he was too late to save her. With a heavy heart, he reached out and gently wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close.

As he held her limp body, he buried his face in her hair, tears streaming down his face. But then, he felt it - a faint whisper of breath against his chest.

Kabir's heart skipped a beat. He pulled back, his eyes scanning Arohi's face, searching for any sign of life. And then, he saw it - a slight rise and fall of her chest.

With a sob of relief, Kabir tightened his hold on Arohi, crushing her to his chest. "Oh, thank God," he whispered, his voice shaking with emotion,"You're alive, Arohi. You're alive."
He lifts her in his arms and carries her towards his car. He laid her on the backseat and looked at Vikram, "Look after Grams and Primo. Find out who did this to them. He won't escape from my clutches," He quickly slids into the driver's seat and rushed to the hospital.

Vikram walks inside the mansion again, his eyes fixated on the lifeless bodies of his two loved ones. They were his family for all these years and now he lost them within a flash of second. He couldn't say the final goodbye... He couldn't hug them for the last time.. His tears flowed down his cheeks like a stream. He walks towards grandma and kneels down in front of her.Vikram's hands trembled as he gently cleaned the blood from Grandma's lifeless body. He bites his lips suppressing the pain and anguish building up inside him.

He softly whispered, "Grandma, I'm so sorry. I wish I could have protected you.I wish I was here when this happened!!"

He remembers his memories with grandma. She loved him and took care of him just like his real grandma. She made him a part of family even when he doesn't have a family. She comforted him whenever he is sad, she supported him during his bad times. Now, he regrets for not being there when this incident happened. He wanted to be here, to protect the only family he has but now they are lying lifeless infront of him.

Next, he turned to Primo's lifeless body, their loyal chef, and cleaned the blood from his white apron. Vikram's heart ached as he remembered the countless delicious meals Primo had prepared for them.Primo was not only their chef but also a part of their family. The man who knows what each and every person likes and dislikes, when and where does they prefer. The man who knows how to make others happy. The man who treated Kabir and Vikram just like his kids. Vikram wiped his tears and continued cleaning.

As he finished cleaning, Vikram carefully wrapped Grandma's and Primo's body in  white sheets. His chef's hat placed respectfully on his chest. He lit a candle and incense sticks, creating a peaceful atmosphere for their final rites.
