Arbir's bedroom

Arohi settled into the plush pillows of her bed, a warm smile spreading across her face as she cradled her swollen belly. It's been 5 months since she started feeling the bliss of a little one growing inside her. She had been looking forward to this moment all day - a quiet morning with her favorite novel.

As she opened the worn paperback, the familiar scent of aged paper wafted up, transporting her to a world of romance and fantasy. Arohi's eyes scanned the pages, devouring the words as she became lost in the story. Her lips curled into a small smile as she begins to immerse in her own world of fantasy. It's been a month since Grandma and Primo had passed away but still their memories were haunting her. She tried a lot of methods to move on but none except going back to her realm of fantasy  worked for her.

As she read, Arohi's mind wandered to the little one growing inside her. She wondered what kind of books they would love, what stories would capture their imagination. Would they inherit her love for imaginative fictional world or perhaps Kabir's passion for real practical world, something like sci-fi?

The morning sun streaming through the window cast a warm glow over the room, and Arohi felt her eyelids growing heavy. She marked her place with a bookmark and set the book aside, letting out a contented sigh.

For a moment, she simply lay there, listening to the sound of her own heartbeat, and the gentle stirrings of her baby. It was moments like these that Arohi cherished, feeling grateful for this time of quiet reflection, and the joy of anticipating the new life that was soon to arrive.

Kabir was wearing a black armani suit while standing in front of the floor-length mirror, adjusting his cufflinks with a satisfied smile. He was dressed to impress in his black Armani suit, tailored to perfection to accentuate his lean physique.

The charcoal-black fabric seemed to absorb the light around him, making his piercing blue eyes sparkle like diamonds. His crisp white shirt provided a striking contrast to the dark suit, and the slim black tie added a touch of sophistication.

Kabir's dark hair was styled perfectly, with a subtle wave that added to his debonair charm. His chiseled features, honed from years of discipline and hard work, seemed chiseled from granite, exuding an aura of confidence and power.

As he turned to leave, the soft glow of the room's lighting danced across the intricate stitching of the suit, highlighting the exceptional craftsmanship of the Armani design. Kabir felt ready to take the high-stakes business meeting that awaited him.He walks into the room from his closet. Seeing the novel besides Arohi, he sighs deeply. He knows that it's been a month since they left and she read the same novel for twentieth time now. It's been a month, their lives became colorless. It's been a month since both of them even talked to each other properly. It's been a month since they hide their feelings from each other. Both of them tried hard to initiate a conversation, but their grievings were bigger. But today, he needed to intiate this conversation somehow.... It's the first time he is leaving her in Chauhan Mansion  since the funeral. He wanted to make sure that she is back to normal without Grandma and Primo's memories haunting her but the meeting he had to attend today is more important. This meeting will decide their future. Since he hadn't properly been to the company, the profits were decreasing and company is at big loss. The company is on the verge of bankruptcy because he lost a lot of potential shareholders. This meeting will help him to regain his company back and arrange a perfect future for his wife and baby rather than being in bankruptcy.

He clears his throat gently with an intention to initate a conversation. Arohi sits straight and raises her eyes to meet his. He connected the words to continue, "Arohi.. I got a meeting today. So, I am going to company. I'll be late tonight. Don't wait for me. Eat dinner and go to bed early."
