Sorry for the late update; I completely forgot about this.

After speaking with his brothers Bharat and Shatrughan, Lakshman left to enter his room, knowing he had to go see his wife.

Knowing the future, Lakshman sighed. "I wish you didn't love me as much as you do, considering how hurt you're going to be soon," said Lakshman.

As he walked into the room, he saw his wife waiting for him in bed. But as soon as their eyes met, Urmila walked toward Lakshman and touched his feet, saying, "Bless your precious wife."

"How can this unworthy husband of yours ever give you a blessing, my precious wife? Rather, I should be asking you for blessings. But I know having you in my life is already a blessing. Your presence is how I will defeat my ultimate rival (Indrajit). I also know that without you being there to share my burden, I would not have been able to fulfill my duty to Ram (Urmila took 14 years of sleep for Lakshman)," said Lakshman.

"Hush, stop praising this unworthy wife of yours, just give me a blessing already," said Urmila.

"I can't give you a blessing, but I will give you something that, in turn, lessens my guilt..." said Lakshman.

"I promise you, O Great Urmila, that after my time spent with Ram and Sita, I will only spend my time with you, giving you my 100% devotion and fulfilling all your happiness until death do us part," said Lakshman.

"No, please never utter the word 'death' again. If death ever comes into our lives, I hope it takes me before you, my dear husband. Because if anything were to happen to you, I don't think I could ever live," said Urmila.

"Please, Urmila, never say you can't live without me. In my life, there was only one person I couldn't live without, but recently, due to our marriage, that number has grown to three," said Lakshman.

"O Great Urmila, I know our time will be short, but for this brief moment, I will give you all the happiness that I can as your husband," said Lakshman.

As they hugged each other, they felt each other's warmth and climbed into bed, with Lakshman carrying her.

As the sun slowly rose, Lakshman opened his eyes and tried to move his body so he could go serve his brother, as he always did. But he couldn't get up, seeing his precious wife laying on his chest and holding his hand. He couldn't wake up Urmila, thinking about the future as he sighed, accepting that not being able to serve his brother for today would be fine.

So he dismissed the idea of serving his brother Ram for today, feeling it would be unfair to Urmila, considering he wouldn't even see her for 14 years. But his body and heart started to feel guilty, as he had always served his brother Ram every day of his life. His body started to shake...

Feeling his shaking body, Urmila woke up and remembered that she should let him go see Ram so he could serve, as Urmila could just tell by looking at Lakshman's face. But in her heart, she felt selfish just for today, but as she looked more at Lakshman's face, she became sad. So she woke up and suppressed her selfish feelings so she could let her husband go.

But as she woke up and let go of his hand, Lakshman looked into Urmila's eyes and could tell that even though she didn't want to let go, she was putting her feelings aside so he could be happy.

Their eyes met, and Urmila said, "Go, my dear husband, so you can serve your brother Ram, as always."

"Not today, my dear wife. Today, I feel I want to be selfish with my dear and precious wife," said Lakshman.

"No, Lakshman, if you don't go today, I would feel as though I am the reason why you are unable to fulfill your duty and feel sad," said Urmila.

"Never in my life would you become a reason for my sadness. Instead, I know in the future, I will be the reason for your sadness, and I don't think not going for one day would be a reason for anyone's sadness," said Lakshman.

But Urmila could tell Lakshman was lying, as she could see and feel his body reacting differently as time passed.

Urmila ordered Lakshman, "Please, husband, go and do your duty, as this precious wife cannot bear to see you in any pain."

"I know, but I want to be selfish with you for at least today," said Lakshman.

But his body started to behave strangely, as he had always gone to serve his brother all his life.

"Just go now, please, as I won't be able to let you go if you stay any longer," said Urmila.

"But," said Lakshman.

"Please, dear husband, I order you to go. I can't bear to see you in any pain," said Urmila.

"I will listen to your order, but I promise you again, in this life or another, only you will have my heart," said Lakshman.

As Lakshman went to serve Ram, everyone was surprised by Lakshman's lateness, but Ram was still...
