At First Sight

Nine

Third P.O.V.

I turned around, hand already raised and ready to punch someone, but it was Riven and he was ready for me.

He grabbed my fist and shoved me.

"What the hell are you doing man!?" Riven said after I growled at him.

"Dude there are way too many humans around." He said sternly.

I huffed and turned back to see them still holding hands, I stalked towards them and felt arms wrap around me from behind.

"What's wrong with him?" I heard Gannon behind me.

"I don't know." Riven said in a hard tone, sounding like he knew exactly why I was freaking out.

The growls kept pouring out of me.

I ripped free from both of Gannon's arms tangled around my left arm. I made it two steps while dragging Riven before Kyler was in front of me, hands up like he was calming a wild animal. And he kind of was.

As my gamma he was able to tap into my emotions and one day my luna, actually he should've been able to sense my mate as well.

I stalked towards him and he put his hands on my chest before pushing me back a couple feet and, using his shifter speed, he caught up to me and pushed on my chest again to keep me against some lockers.

"Stop. Now." He said in a strong level voice.

He influenced me, made my emotions calm down by connecting with my wolf.

Kyler and his twin Randy had a kitsune mother, she couldn't use magic while shifted as a fox but she had four tails. The strongest since the lycan and pure kitsune lines started to disappear, hers was one of the strongest kitsune families.

Kyler was born a wolf from his dad but had some sort of magic from his mother. He was able to influence animals emotions, he calmed my wolf when he was uncontrollable and well, wild.

"You can't wolf out in these halls, and you especially can't go all possessive alpha wolf on your ex-mate. Even if she is talking to another male." Kyler said in a low tone.

I just leveled a look at him, upset that he was right. I felt Jasper pace in my mind and growl before reacting to whatever Kyler was doing and receding into my mind.

I was I little more clear minded with him settled.

I let out a long sigh and looked around at the clearing hallway. I looked to where Vivian had been and saw the door was closed now.

Although there was a prickling sensation in the back of my mind knowing she was in there with Alaric, I looked Kyler in the eye and nodded.

"You're right. I'm good now." I say gruffly

I'm not happy but I'm better.

"Good, now let's go to gym. On the way you can explain to me why you rejected your mate, our luna." Kyler said in a hard voice as he dropped his arm around my shoulder.

"Ughhhh!" I huffed out as we headed towards the gym. "She beautiful, stunning, sarcastic, and utterly human!"

"Hmm.." Kyler said.

"She has a strong personality for a human but that's just it! She's human!" I said dropping my head into my hands.

"So you only rejected her cause she's human?" Kyler mused.

"Of course! If she were a wolf or a shifter I'd get to know her and decide then but having even Sarah as a Luna is better than having a human mate as luna! I'm stronger with a shifter, period." I said.
