I made it to history and sat in the same seat, I took out my homework, textbook and notebook to get ready for class.

"Hello Vivian, how has your first real day been going?" Ms. Brown said to me as she entered the class with a coffee in hand.

"Good Ms. Brown, I've had all my classes now and I think they're all good fits." I said easily.

"Good, I'm glad! Oh is that the homework? I'll take it now if you want." She said as she sat down on her desk, then sipped her coffee.

I passed it to her since I was in the front and practically right next to her desk, she took it and put it on her desk before her cup followed.

She went to the whiteboard and started writing the prompt for today, I got my notebook ready while kids filed in.

"Hey Vivvy! How are ya!?" Fiona said excitedly when she sat down.

"Hey Fi, I'm doing good how about yourself?" I said with a smile, turning in my seat.

"I'm doing great! I got a ride to school today, got to breakfast early for once and finished all my homework early last night! Meeting you was like a good luck charm!" She said with a chuckle.

"Haha oh yea? Well I'm glad to be of service!" I said lightly.

We chatted a bit more before the teacher started back in on the Romanovs rule and their unfortunate decision to befriend Rasputin to help their youngest and only son Alexei.

"Why did the public's opinion of the Romanov family start to sour?" Ms. Brown asked the class.

"Yes, Jenna." She pointed to a small blonde girl in a plain white button up and jeans.

"Because they kept their son out of the public eye out of fear." She stated.

"Close, but not quite. Anyone else?" Ms. Brown said as she scanned the room.

"Greg go ahead." She pointed to a tall, large guy with light brown curly hair. He was wearing the same football letterman jacket as Erikson and his goons.

"The Tsar and Tsarina started to leave the public eye out of paranoia of a revolt." He said confidently.

"Again, close but not quite. Their paranoia of the public started after this event." Ms. Brown said as her eyes searched the sea of raised hands.

Her eyes landed on me, despite both of my arms being on my desk.

"Vivian, got any guesses?" She said with a sly smile. I'm guessing she already looked at my worksheets from yesterday, damn.

"I think it was their friendship with Rasputin, he had gotten close to both the Tsar and Tsarina but because Alexandra wouldn't leave her sick son she got to know Rasputin better. The public was skeptical of their relationship and thought the Tsarina was having sexual relations with Rasputin; who the public already disliked." I said evenly, knowing I was right.

"Correct, good job." She said with a smile before dramatically turning to the board.

"Rasputin already had a negative public image, so when he got close to the royal family - for saving their son's life; a fact the public did not know - they felt the family's connection to Rasputin was tarnishing their judgement. A thought that eventually - and with other factors of course - lead to the public thinking the royal family was no longer fit to rule." Ms. Brown said as she drew a timeline on the board.

"Now, I want you all to copy this timeline and fill in the important events the lead to the publics want to revolutionize. Do this assignment separately please." She said as she walked back to her desk and started grading papers.
