Vivian POV
I opened the library doors and waved to Issac before practically skipping to the couch in the corner, I plopped down and just looked out the window for a bit. I took out my phone and sent Alaric a quick text, he answered instantly and said he'd meet me at the library so we could walk to Astronomy together.
I smiled at how cute and gentlemanly he is, then went to the shelves to find another Sherlock Holmes book, let's try 'A Study in Scarlet'. I went to the counter to check it out and wait for Alaric.
"Hey Issac, how are you?" I said with a smile as I put the book down.
"Hey Vivian, I'm doing pretty good. How about you, how was the first weekend of the school year?" He said with a smile as he scanned the book and grabbed my library card.
"Haha oh my goddess, are you referring to the parties that allegedly happen during the first weekend of the school year?" I asked in slight surprise.
"That's highly possible." He said with a smile and a laugh. "Oh don't look so surprised, I used to go here." He said easily.
"Oh wow, I hadn't known that, I figured you were just a young graduate and that this school is really progressive haha." I said with a laugh and smile.
"Yea, I'm an Alumni here. I think it helped me get the job honestly, but I might know some of the student body traditions because of it." He said with a smile.
"Well I have heard quite a bit about them throughout the day, in classes and hallways. But I didn't go to any, I work on the weekends and I'm pretty new here." I said easily.
"Oh bummer, it's a fun time and it's good to meet a lot of people in the school in a relaxed setting. I'm sure you can make some other ones, no worries! Besides you can't be new forever, don't let that hold you back from experiences." He said with a smile.
"That's excellent advice, thanks Issac." I said with a smile before glancing at the doorway and seeing Alaric's figure walking up. I filled with excitement.
I watched him open the door and saunter in here with a big grin, he got closer and slid his hand around my waist.
"Hey Viv, hey Issac. How are you?" He asked with a smile.
I noticed Issac stand a little straighter - a little taller, before he answered in a more serious tone than he'd been using with me. "Hello Al- ahem Alaric, doing good. Yourself?"
Alaric smiled easily and said, "I'm doing pretty good, I'm going to escort this lovely lady to her next class so I'm going to steal her away." He said with a cocky smirk as he looked to me.
I smiled and bumped his chest with my shoulder, he just chuckled at me in return.
Issac looked to me with raised eyebrows before quickly turning to look at Alaric again; face neutral as he said, "How nice of you, hope you guys have a good day." He finished with a smile but it almost looked forced.
I wonder what that was about.. but I didn't have much time to dwell on it when Alaric swung me around and started toward the doors.
He bent his head down and practically rested it on top of mine as he whispered to me, "I've been thinking about you all weekend. It's good to have you in my arms again." He said lowly while gripping my hip and the top of my ass.
I chuckled and leaned further into him, "I thought about you too, and I thought we could get together this Sunday. I have the day off and I want to explore the city, come with me." I said with a smile as I looked up at him.
He stared at me with a soft smile while we gingerly walked towards the main stairs.
"Are you asking me on a date?" He said with a sly smile and a firm grip to my side.
