Adelina

The small strands of hair on either side of my forehead are gently ruffled by the evening breeze, bringing calm and freshness to my mind.

Saya pushed my wheelchair along the small path in the mansion garden. My eyes wandered all over the garden, the flowering trees stood around me in their glory, smiling, beautifying the whole garden and filling my nostrils with their various fragrances.

"Saya?" I called out.

"Madam?"

"Let's stop if you're tired." I said. It's been almost an hour now and she has started taking me around the garden.

We went inside the birdcage, which is supposed to be at the end of the garden. It is made of iron. It is completely covered with small purple flower vines, the flower vines are completely wrapped around its iron bars, covering the roof as well as all around, so the inside is completely protected from the sun.

Inside there is a table with two small benches. She stopped my wheelchair and sat facing me on a bench.

My eyes were fixed on the little purple flowers. The whole atmosphere is filled with their fragrance. Although the flower is small, there is a lot of fragrance in it. A great example is to not judge a book by its cover.

Closing my eyes, I let their lovely scent travel through my nostrils. It really relaxes my mind more than meditation.

After paintings, my favorite thing is flowers. Because they bring me a sense of purity and innocence whenever I look at them.

It has the ability to win everyone's love without doing anything. All they have to do is bloom, and everyone looks at them, smells them, admires them.

Another reason I love them is,Anyone can touch them, smell them, but never own them. There is a saying that a flower belongs only to its stalk, I think it is true.Because the moment you separate them from the stalk, they don't last long.

But we can take care of them, love them, and be happy watching them bloom and beautify the whole garden from afar.

We don't need to own them to love them.

I watched how colorful butterflies and other insects would come and drink the nectar of the flower, taking care not to crush the soft petals.

They treat it like the most precious thing they have. That's how they appreciate the flower for giving them food. The animal world is actually more virtuous than us.

I suddenly felt something in my hair making me look up at Saya, she put a small flower in my hair beside my ear.

"you are beautiful." She said, sitting back on the bench, and I chuckled  at her compliment.

"Not as much as you." She looked down quickly, trying to hide the shade of red my comment had cast on her cheeks. But I saw it very well.

"Madam ?"

"Mhm?"

"How did you meet Master?" Her question made my head turn to her.

"It's an arranged marriage, Saya." Her eyes widened at my response, and she quickly covered her mouth with her hand, preventing a gasp from escaping.

"What?"

"Why? Unbelievable?"

"Of course madam! I really thought it was a love marriage." She said shaking her head. It is still at an unacceptable level. I sighed.

"Business family and love marriage are rarely in the same sentence, Saya."

"you are right." She nodded her head and looked down. Her hands grips the edge of the bench and her legs swing freely. Suddenly she looked at me with a big smile making her eyes almost disappear.
