-proposing was a serious matter for chan. to him, it was either going to be perfect or he wasn't going to do it at all, you only deserved the best and he was not about to propose to you in a way that didn't include his full efforts. it was his once chance to express his love for you to its full potential, and the possibilities for the way he could do this were endless. just thinking about it made him excited to the point of sickness, and he couldn't wait for the moment he'd finally be able to refer to you as his fiancee
- firstly, and most importantly, he went to your parents, specifically to your dad, to ask for your hand in marriage. you had no idea that he went to visit your parents all alone and spent a whole evening with them, talking and laughing over dinner as if he was their very own. he was going to be their son soon after all

-reading this gave you such a rush of adrenaline, that you picked up the skirt of your dress and began running up that hill, already nodding enthusiastically in response to his question. he was surrounded by heart-shaped candles and rose petals scattered on your path to him, the setting sky giving another layer of intimacy. as you reached him, he dropped the sign to the side and opened his arms widely, embracing your tightly and you collided with him, your face already buried in his chest. you pouted at him and felt your eyes go glassy, the whole moment making your heart ache with how cute it was. seeing your expression, he ruffled your hair and let out a light chuckle before pulling away from you and getting down on one knee
''so...will you?''
''yes, yes I will'' you smiled brightly, sniffling as you tried to hold back the tears when you watched him put the ring on your finger. he took his time in carefully sliding it on, admiring the jewel glistening in the evening sun and how perfect it looked on you for as long as he possibly could
