- mr old-fashioned loverboy over here absolutely loves the classics such as baby, love, darling. though they might seem a bit mushy and cringe, there's something about it being chan and the way he uses them that makes it quite the opposite. he's already good enough with his words as it is, but when he uses these nicknames in the perfect moments, it makes butterflies erupt in your stomach stronger and stronger every time
- he knows damn well what an effect these nicknames have on you, especially if you're having a disagreement and he still refers to you as darling mid-argument, which leaves you questioning whether you want to be screaming at him or his name;

- yeah...arguments don't last very long when it's chan for this exact reason, it is impossible to stay mad at him when this well-spoken man knows exactly when he gets you going, managing to sweet talk you out of anger even during arguments. and yes, he enjoys the sight of your eyes suddenly widening and your heart skipping a beat when he says such things
- chan doesn't play about when it comes to your relationship, even when it comes down to nicknames. he loves that idealistic, classic love everyone dreams of having, and he wants to provide you with that exact experience even through the sweet names he calls you. everything heart fluttering is literally in chan's nature
- he loves waiting for your reaction when he calls you by these favourites of yours, because you always look at him with eyes that say all the words in the world for him, he can see clearly how much you love not only the nicknames but also him. it's almost like time pauses for the two of you, just for a small moment, when he calls you these nicknames, just a brief intimate moment for you during your busy usual lives. it was beautiful, and something so special to you that you couldn't even begin to put it into words
- however, one thing you've become a victim of in this relationship is the cheesy pickup lines that chan finds on the internet and decides to use to the point he's laughing at himself before, during and after saying them. they're awful, they really are, but you both find it so funny and the grin on his face when he goes to find you with the next one he had found is priceless

- yeah...anything corny and dad-joke-like is bound to have chan's name written all over it. but honestly? it's adorable, he's adorable, and anything he does makes your heart flutter anyway
