- it happened so...suddenly? you were both being very careful, birth control and all, but it turns out that sometimes the universe has a different plan that you cannot fight against. it was a surprise for both of you and one you had to comfort each other in to get through it together

- when you took a look at that positive pregnancy test, you simply sat down on the bathroom floor and started sobbing, unsure of what else you could possibly do in a difficult situation. and when chan heard your cries coming from the bathroom, he quickly rushed in and looked at you in horror, fearing what happened to you
''[name]? oh my god- [name]. what happened?'' he spoke shakily, cupping your face with his hands and bringing it up to get you to look at him
''I-...I'm pregnant.'' you cried quietly, almost feeling ashamed about it, and avoiding your husband's eyes as you were afraid of seeing his reaction
''you- you are?'' he asked in surprise, his head spinning slightly at the sudden news. was he stomach currently erupting in fear and excitement both at once? yes, but he wasn't about to tell you that he secretly thinks this might just not be that bad when you were clearly upset about it. ''how did- how did this happen?''
''I don't know.'' you sobbed, your tears only worsening when he wrapped you in his arms tightly, sitting on the bathroom floor with you. ''I-I really don't know, I-I'm sorry-''
''don't you apologise baby.''
- and he held you like that, he held you like that until you calmed down and exhausted all your tears, waiting patiently for you to be able to talk about this with him. he caressed the back of your head, held you soothingly, shushed your tears, and did everything in his power to comfort you as well as possible until you finally managed to speak up
''what do you think I should do?'' you sniffled, lifting your heads to look up at him nervously
''it's up to you baby, I'll be happy with anything you decide to do.'' he nodded reassuringly, although deep inside a switch turned the moment he found out the news, and a sudden desire to nurture you and start this family with you overpowered him. it might've not been the right time previously, but it definitely was now
''and if I say I want to keep it?''
''then...then I'll hug you even tighter and tell you how happy I am to start this beautiful journey with you, even if it wasn't our initial plan right now. I'll take good care of you baby, you can trust me on that.''
- hearing his support and how he was actually happy about this only made your tears come back, but this time it was tears of love and relief. you didn't know how you felt about this just yet, but you knew it would all be okay as long as chan would be by your side. despite chan's attempts to try and keep his emotions under control and stay strong for you, he too ended up breaking down in cries with you, the two of you holding onto each other for dear life in tears on the floor, smushed against each other
