Walking on a bed of nails, sleeping in a snow bank, stepping on coral, listening to nails on a chalk board...all things that Kara would rather do then sitting her opposite Andrea Rojas. "And that's how my day went...how was yours?" Andrea asked. Kara had hardly paid any attention to her. "My day was as boring as usual. People complaining, me yelling at them...I assigned a few interviews with people and thats about it. Have you figured out what you'd like to eat?" Kara asked. "I'm thinking about the risotto, what about you?" Andrea asked. "I'm gonna have the steak. What movie have you picked?" Kara asked. "I'm thinking about this new romance movie." Andrea replied. Kara nodded slowly as their waiter came to place their orders.

"We'll have this bottle of red." Kara said pointing to mid price bottle of wine. Not wanting to show off too much, and give Andrea the wrong idea. "So is the amount of children negotiable?" Andra asked. Kara merely shook her head. "I see...well I'll just get used to it." Andrea replied. "So what do you do when you're not working?" Andrea asked. 'Finally a normal question...' Kara thought to herself. "I do various things. But mostly I exercise, and travel. It's not uncommon for me to be gone for a month at a time. When I marry and have children we'll travel as a family to various places. It'll give the children a good learning experience." Kara stated. "I've never been one for traveling a lot. But for you Kara..I will learn to love it." Andrea replied.

Kara just looked at her with a blank stare. "No one will force you to travel Andrea." Kara replied. "But...you love traveling...I'd go to spend time with you." Andrea replied. Kara listened to her talk. She had a little sincerity in her voice but she also knew that Andrea was gonna say whatever she had to win Kara's heart. Before she could reply their food arrived.

Kara silently ate her meal while watching Andrea eat hers. Kara had many pet peeves, but sloppy eaters was in her top two. The number one was someone being rude to waitstaff. So far Andrea was just a haphazard eater, she looked like she had no idea what she was doing. "Would you like some help?" Kara asked. The question caused Andrea to snap her head up. "No...I'm ok...It's just a little hot." Andrea replied. Kara didn't ask anymore she just grabbed the steak sauce and put some on her plate before cutting into the steak and taking a bite. Eventually Andrea began eating her food.

"So do you have a favorite place to travel to?" Andrea asked. "I've always been fond of Scotland. What about you? Or do you prefer to hang around here on your time off?" Kara asked. "If I take time off I like to go to the islands. Relax in the sun and the sand." Andrea replied. "Hmm...Ok." Kara replied with a half smile. 'Figures..she's one of those omegas...goes to the islands to relax...'

After dinner ended Kara quickly paid for their meals and left a generous tip to the waiter before heading off to the cinema to watch a romantic movie. The cinema wasn't full when they entered, Kara bought tickets, popcorn and two drinks before taking Andrea by the hand and heading into the dark theater. Sitting in the middle of the room while they waited for the move to play. As the previews began playing Andrea took the opportunity to hold Kara's hand. Kara didn't bother stopping her, instead she wanted Andrea to think she was enjoying herself.

The movie began playing and Andrea became cuddlier laying her head on Kara's shoulder. During the funny parts Andrea laughed like a hyena. The sound radiated through Kara's head like a ping pong ball. 'Sam's gonna hear about this tomorrow.' She thought to herself as the movie went on. When it was finished Kara gathered up their trash and put it in the bin before taking Andrea's hand again and heading to the waiting car. "Did you have a good time?" Kara asked as they sat in the back seat together. "Yes I did. Did you?" Andrea replied. "It was enjoyable." Kara replied as the car brought them back to Andrea's place.

Kara got out and escorted Andrea to the front door and gave her kiss on the cheek before returning to the car that would take her home for the night. Pulling out her phone she saw she had a missed call from Lena. Sighing to herself Kara called her back. "Hey Lee! Whats up?" Kara asked. "Nothing...just miss you thats all...I got the news that one of your new reporters will be coming to interview me..and I saw that you're personally accompanying them?" Lena asked. "Yes. She reminds myself of me when I first began and I personally decided to take her under my wing and escort her on this interview next month." Kara replied. "I look forward to it. I'll let you go...eh...enjoy your date..." Lena replied softly. "It's over...she's home and I'm on my way back to my place...it was dull..." Kara replied. "I heard. Sam showed me your texts. I'm sorry." Lena added.

"No need to be sorry Lee, it'll be over in twenty nine days..." Kara replied. Lena ended the call after that and silently prayed to whatever gods were out there that Kara pick her.
