Kara held Esme in her arms as they sat and waited for Alex to come back out of the delivery room to share the news of the baby. "Auntie K?" Esme asked. "What is it darling?" Kara replied. "Are you gonna pick Lena for my new auntie?" Esme asked. "I'm not sure, why do you ask?" Kara asked. "Cause she's very beautiful Auntie K. Plus...I like her, shes nice!" Esme replied. "You do?" Kara replied. "Yes! She likes to play with me at our game nights." Esme replied. "I know she does. But I'll tell you a secret. You'll be able to read the envelope at the press conference on Monday!" Kara replied. "Yay!" Esme exclaimed.

Just then Alex came out of the delivery room. "It's a girl!" She squealed happily. "Come on darling let's go meet your new sister!" Kara cooed as she carried Esme into the delivery room. "Momma!" Esme exclaimed. "Shh Esme, your little sister's sleeping." Kara cooed. "Come look Esme, meet your little sister Amanda." Kelly whispered. Kara carried her over to the bed so she could look at her new sister. "Awww! She's cute momma!" Esme whispered. "Wanna hold her Auntie K?" Kelly asked. Kara put Esme on the floor so she could go sit with Alex. Kelly passed Amanda to Kara gently. "Hello there Amanda...I'm your auntie K. I already spoil your big sister Esme so you'll be getting spoiled as well. You look just like your mommies, I can already tell your big sister already loves you so much." Kara whispered.

Alex was snapping pictures of Kara and Amanda along with Esme and Kelly who were cuddling in the hospital bed. A little while later Kara was taking Esme home with her for the evening. "When do mommy and momma come home?" Esme asked as she sat in the backseat of the car. "Tomorrow morning. So what would you like to eat?" Kara asked as they arrived at her house. "Can we have pizza?" Esme asked. "Of course sweetheart!" Kara replied as she ordered a large pizza for them to share.

"Pizzas on its way. I've got to make a call to Andrea now ok, go ahead and watch some cartoons while we wait." Kara explained. Esme nodded and hopped on the sofa and quickly found the cartoons. Kara smiled and headed to the other room and made her phone call. "Andrea! Hi! I've got to cancel our breakfast date tomorrow morning. No...no...everything's fine...I'm just babysitting my niece while her moms are in the hospital tonight. No...I'm well capable of handling my niece. No! They're in the hospital because my sister's omega just gave birth to their second daughter! I'll see you for lunch....yes my office please!" Kara replied as she ended the call.

"Auntie K! Someone's here!" Esme  called out. "I'll look darling, why don't you get the plates and some drinks out." Kara replied as she opened the door to accept the pizza. "Thanks!" Kara replied as she shut the door. "Pizza's here darling!" Kara called out. "Yay!" Esme squealed. The two of them sat in the living room eating pizza and watched a Disney movie together. After dinner Kara gave Esme a bath and put her to bed in Kara's bed. A few minutes later Kara had done her nightly routine and joined her niece in bed. Esme quickly snuggled up to her laying her head on the blondes chest. "Night Auntie K..." Esme whispered. "Good night darling." Kara replied before sleep took over them.

The next morning Kara took Esme with her to her work after dressing her in a matching suit and doing their hair the same way. "One day...I'm gonna be a CEO just like you Auntie K!" Esme exclaimed as they got out of the suv. "I know you will love, because you're smart like your mommies, and I'll be here to help you along when it's needed. Come on love let's get you set up in my office with some juice and some color books." Kara replied as they stepped onto the elevator that would take them to the top floor.

As they walked through the bullpen everyone awed at Esme matching with Kara. "Whats on my schedule for today?" Kara asked her assistant. "Two meetings in the afternoon, a lunch date with Miss Rojas's. For the morning you're free and clear."  The assistant replied. "Thank you! Oh.. could you send up some...what would you like for a snack love?" Kara asked. "Can we have some of those blueberry muffins we had last time I was here?" Esme asked. "Of course sweetheart!" Kara replied. "Have six blueberry muffins and an iced latte for myself and a cup of coco for her." Kara replied. The assistant nodded with a smile.

Kara and Esme spent their morning munching on muffins and talking about Kara's work. "Would you want a tour love?" Kara asked after they finished their muffins. "Can I?" Esme asked. "Of course sweetheart. Let's start here. This place is called the bullpen. It's where the majority of the news happens, every reporter here gets their articles researched, notes taken, and where they write their articles. Esme, this is one of my top reporters. Her name is Jaqueline Sanders. Jaqueline, this is my niece Esme Danvers, she has some questions for you, if it's ok with you." Kara explained. "Of course thats fine! Hi Esme! What would you like to know?" Jaqueline asked.

"How many papers do you have to write?" Esme asked. "It depends on the day, but last week...I had to write several articles on this really boring medicine that's coming out soon." Jaqueline replied. "That sounds boring!" Esme replied. "Well what would you like to do when you grow up Esme?" Jaqueline asked. "I wanna be a CEO like Auntie K." Esme replied with a smile. "Oh? I bet you'll be a wonderful one! Where are you two heading now?" Jaqueline asked. "We're gonna continue our tour by then Alex, Kelly and little baby Amanda should be home." Kara explained. "Ohhh a new sister! That's exciting isn't it?" Jaqueline asked. "Yes shes cute." Esme replied. "Thank you Jaqueline! If my sister comes early just have them wait in my office please. Come along Esme." Kara said. "Thank you Jack!" Esme replied as she took Karas hand and continued on their tour.

A few hours and many many more questions from Esme, she and Kara returned to her office where they waited for Alex  to come. "Miss Danvers! Miss Rojas is here! Shall I let her in?" Kara's assistant asked. "Yes!" Kara replied as she looked at Esme who was busy watching a cartoon on her tablet. Andrea walked into the office holding two large bags of food in her hands. "Kara...who is this?" Andrea asked eying Esme. "This is my niece Esme. Esme meet Andrea Rojas." Kara said introducing them.

Esme smiled but didn't shake Andrea's hand. "I brought burgers, there's enough for everyone though." Andrea replied. "Come here Esme, you can sit with me." Kara stated as she scooped her up into her arms and sat with her on the sofa. "Auntie K...I need the potty." Esme said. "Ok, it's still right there, I'll be right here when you get back." Kara replied as Esme shut the door.

"So you still babysitting?" Andrea asked. "Yes. Is that an issue?" Kara asked. "Oh no...she's a lovely child." Andrea replied. "Thank you, I'll be sure and tell her mom's that when they get here." Kara replied as the bathroom door opened up and out came Esme. "Did you wash your hands?" Kara asked. "Yes Auntie K! Can I eat now?" Esme asked. "Of course darling come sit and I'll cut your burger up." Kara replied. Andrea watched on as Kara cut up the child's burger into four pieces before putting some fry's on the plate too. "Want some apple juice?" Kara asked. Esme nodded as Kara poured a small cup of juice and returned to the sofa. "This is good...but not as good as yours Auntie K." Esme stated. "Thank you darling." Kara replied.

"So Esme? Are you in school?" Andrea asked. "No. My momma has me study with a tutor." Esme replied. "Oh? Do you like it?" Andrea asked. "Yes. Momma says it's gonna help me become successful like Auntie K." Esme replied with a smile. "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Andrea asked. "A CEO like Auntie K!" Esme replied. A little while later the food was gone and Esme was curled up beside Kara which made Andrea a little jealous. She should be the one cuddled up next to the alpha not this child.

Suddenly the door opened up and in came Alex, Kelly and Amanda. "Hey!" Alex exclaimed as she looked at Kara with Esme in her arms asleep. "Hey Al, Kelly! How's Amanda?" Kara asked in a low voice. "She's asleep again." Kelly replied. "Good, so is this little nugget. They are leftover muffins we had for a snack earlier today." Kara replied as she put the box in the stroller compartment. "Andrea! Pleasure to see you again!" Alex said greeting the omega. "Pleasure to see you again too Alex. Congratulations on the new baby by the way." Andrea replied. "Well Esme's had lunch already, Andrea brought burgers and she ate on whole one and drank some apple juice with it. She's been asleep for about ten minutes. I'll call you guys later." Kara replied as she passed Alex the sleeping girl. "Ok." Alex replied as they headed out of the office.
