Hindi ako ganito. Mataas ang tingin ko sa sarili ko. Hindi ako sanay na minamaliit ang sarili ko. Hobby ko ang magbuhat ng sarili kong upuan. Sanay akong itaas ang sarili ko sa pedestral.

Siguro, masakit lang talagang manampal ang katotohanan lalo na sa mga delulung katulad ko.

We went back to the hotel after our dinner date in the yacht. Duke seemed to be preoccupied until we reached our hotel room. Another calls came after I settled myself in his bed and tried to sleep. He stayed up and I still see him awake and on his phone whenever I go to the bathroom.

I checked the time and it was two in the morning when I woke up again. I saw Duke sitting at the mini kitchen counter and he was on his laptop. I saw tables and numbers there, he was also in a call while another window was on for a digital meeting.

I heard someone talking there so I didn't even try to walk towards him. Baka mahagip ako sa camera. Duke didn't notice me so I went to bathroom to pee. I went back to bed after that but didn't get back to sleep.

Kita mula sa glass wall ng kwarto ang kinauupuan ni Duke kaya nakuntento na lamang ako na pagmasdan siya.

He was too busy. I stood up when I saw him ending the meeting but he was still on his phone with someone.

He walked towards the bed and put down his cellphone at the bedside table. Wala na pala siyang katawagan. He skillfully removed his shirt from his name. Ang gwapo niya nang ginawa niya yon.

"Hindi ka pa natutulog"

Gumapang siya patungo sa aking tabi at agad akong ikinulong sa kaniyang yakap. Tumungo ang kaniyang mukha sa aking leeg at suminghap pa doon pero agad na bumuntong-hininga. Alam kong pagod na pagod siya.

Humagod ang isa kong kamay sa kaniyang likuran at ang isa naman ay sa kaniyang malambot na buhok.

"I'm resting now" he sniffed my neck and kissed me there.

I just hmmed.

"Supposedly, we still have the whole tomorrow and I planned to bring you to the island owned by me. We will supposely go there and go back the next day but I have to go back to the company to fix some problems" umangat ang ulo niya sa akin kaya naman yumuko ako upang makita siya. "We'll go back here, I promise. We can go to Boracay if you want"

"Promise mo yan, ha" may kung anong kirot na dumaan sa aking dibdib, hindi ko alam kung para saan yon pero alam kong hindi yon tungkol sa biglaan naming pag-uwi.

"We will bring you to wherever you wanna go, Mau. I promise to bring you the world, so you won't leave me"

Ang kirot na nararamdaman ko kanina ay nawala dahil sa naturan niya. Ngumiti ako sa kaniya, pinakita ang kilig sa kaniya.

Duke noticed it and he softly chuckled. He reached my nose tip for a kiss.

"Let's sleep"

Nakapack na ang gamit namin nang magising ako kinabukasan. Lovy was the one who booked our flight because we can't use their private plane now. Sa pagkakarinig ko ay itinakas raw yon ng kaniyang kapatid na si Luke.

Our flight is one thirty in the afternoon so we have to leave the hotel two hours before our flight. It's already nine in the morning and according to Lovy, I still have one hour to prepare.

Sa room na ako nag-almusal, wala si Duke at may kausap pa raw sa isang restaurant pero nasabihan naman ako ni Lovy na kanina pa nakaayos ang binata.

"Did he eat already?" I asked Lovy the second time. She was too preoccupied earlier so I had to ask her again after finishing my meal. "Lovy?"
