2. Betrayal

Niharika says to Priyanshi in a serious tone, "Ma'am, please give me your files!"

Priyanshi unable to understand anything after hearken this. She looks at Niharika with questioning eyes and says, "What? What do you mean?"

Niharika suddenly starts laughing loudly "ma'am please don't misunderstand me" saying this Niharika snatch the files from Priyanshi's hand "ma'am you looking very tired so please go and take some rest and I will go and submit these files,I was going there anyway"

Priyanshi trusts Niharika a lot, so she gives her her files without any doubt. "Okay, I will go and rest in the resting area, you go and submit these files."

As soon as Priyanshi finished speaking, Niharika quickly ran away from there. She ran away so happily as if they were her files.

Priyanshi found Niharika's actions a little strange, but she did not pay much attention to it. And she went to the resting area to rest for a while.

There was still some time for the meeting to start, so Priyanshi falls asleep while resting there. After a while, Priyanshi opens her eyes to the sound of her phone. She had set an alarm on her phone before she fell asleep.

After 5 minutes the winner name was going to be declared and she was going to be late for the meeting. Priyanshi ran to the meeting hall.

Like before, everyone was already present there. Niharika was also sitting on her seat. No one liked Priyanshi there very much, so it did not matter to them that Priyanshi came late or not.

Priyanshi sits quietly in her seat. Then Nikhil comes inside the hall, everyone greets him as soon as he comes. Nikhil had a file in his hand, obviously it was the winner's file. Nikhil comes forward and tells everyone

"Thank you everyone for your contribution to the company and finally I have the winner's files in my hand for what you all were waiting for." Nikhil opens the files and tells the name of the project, "So the winner project name is The instant family food pack"

Hearing this, everyone starts clapping and gets excited to hear the name of the person who made the project.

But Priyanshi's happiness knew no bounds because the project was hers. Then Nikhil further says, "And the person who made this project is.....Miss Niharika Rawat."

Hearing this, Priyanshi's couldn't believe her ears, land Swept off under her feet. She quickly stands up from her seat and said "Sir, I think you made a mistake.... This...this is my project_"

Niharika in the corner started trembling from head to toe, her heart started to beat faster, she also gets up from her seat and interrupts Priyanshi "What are you saying ma'am, this project is mine"

Priyanshi is unable to understand why Niharika is saying this. This is my project, why is niharika saying this. She looks at niharika with hopeful eyes. "What are you saying? You had taken my files from me in the morning. These are the same files, right? Say na..."

But Niharika makes such a face like she is not able to understand anything that Priyanshi had just said.

And niharika said innocently "Morning? when did we meet in the morning?" As soon as she says this, Priyanshi understands that Niharika has stolen her project she had written the files in her name and submitted.

Priyanshi angrily stares at Niharika, "you... it was you, All of this was your fucking plan , you stole my project by writing your name on it"

but Niharika make a fake scenario by crying front of everyone to make everyone in her favour and says "What are you saying ma'am, why would I do that?"

After listening to those two, everyone misunderstands Priyanshi, no one likes her anyway, and that too was Niharika's plan, Niharika had instigated everyone against Priyanshi by saying that Priyanshi always threatens her for everything and how bad she is that she always made niharika do her tasks.

So it was normal for everyone to thinks that this time also it must be Priyanshi's mistake and not Niharika's.

Everyone was talking behind them and obviously they were talking ill about Priyanshi. Priyanshi could not hear that everyone talking ill about her again and tears started flowing from her eyes that's when when Nikhil came forward and made everyone quiet.

While Looking at Priyanshi, Nikhil says, "Miss Priyanshi what is all this... This project is in the name of Miss Niharika and as for you, you have not given any project at all" Priyanshi couldn't help but looking at Nikhil with surprise.

"Please believe me nikhil sir this is my project" priyanshi said while desperately looking at his eyes hoping he will believe her

"I can't miss priyanshi and please If you haven't make the project then you haven't, what's the need to do all this drama?" he said with a Harsh tone

"Don't you believe me" she said with a hope, "how can I? The prove is in front of me, I'm so disappointed in you miss priyanshi"while saying this he didn't even try to look at her, that break her heart into million pieces

Everyone was misunderstanding Priyanshi and for them Niharika is innocent, at least Nikhil should have believed Priyanshi. Her tears were not stopping at all.

Why is this happening to me? Why did Niharika do this to me? She was the only one in whom I had so much trust then why did she do this me?..why?.. why?.. even nikhila... shouldn't atleast he should believe me maybe I don't deserve to be loved or to be believed it was my fault beginning with, yes it was my fault

It was slowly becoming difficult for her to stay there, she started feeling suffocated thinking about all this. Her phone had been ringing for a long time, so she went out of there crying.

As soon as she goes out of the office, her phone rings again. This time Priyanshi picks up the call. "Hello?" A man's voice comes from the phone. It seemed from the voice that Syed was angry (I am your landlord, do you even remember that ?)

Priyanshi quickly replies "Mr. Niyak? What..what happened? Why did you call me?" (What happened, you have not given me any money for straight 4 months) "Oh sorry I will give you the money today itself, I was a little busy that's why I couldn't give it to you then" (No no, what is the need now, come home and take your things with you, I have given the house to someone else)

Priyanshi panic "Mr. Niyak please don't throw me out of the house, where will I go?" (How do I know, you can stay on the road...)

And then Niyak disconnects the call... Priyanshi tries to call again but Niyak does not pick up the call... Priyanshi did not have much time so she quickly stops a taxi and tries to reach home as soon as possible.

On reaching home, Priyanshi quickly pays the taxi driver and gets out of the taxi but when she sees the house, she stands there like a fool tear were falling from her eyes. All the belongings of her house were thrown outside...
