Thinking all this, a big smile comes on her lips. Seeing her smiling, Anamika and Sumati also smile, and why should they not, they were worried that Priyanshi might get sad after Shaurya leaves.
"Now come on, you both. Today is Priyanshi's first kitchen." Sumati ji caresses Priyanshi's cheeks. "This rasoi is just a ritual. You just need to make something sweet and don't worry. Whatever you make, we will eat it. Even if it is bad, we will still eat it because you're my beloved daughter-in-law."

"You're done having fun, now you both can come to the kitchen" said Sumati ji pretending to be angry on Anamika,

Everyone starts laughing at her words, and seeing everyone laughing, Anamika says with a pout, "aisa kya bol diya hamne ki aap sab hampe hunsh rahe hai hamne to bas sach hi bola hai"

"Come on, enough of you two laughing and joking, let's go to the dining room" On hearing Sumati ji's words both of them nodded and started walking with her.
After some time they reach the dining room. Sumati ji orders Anamika to wait there and takes Priyanshi to the kitchen. "This is the kitchen. You can make anything here. Don't worry, I am here if you need any help."
But Priyanshi refuses her saying "No maasi maa I handle, you go sit comfortably with Anamika, I will prepare something"
Seeing so much courage on her face Sumati ji agrees "Ok but if you need any help we are outside" Priyanshi passes a big smile on her after which Sumati ji goes out from there.
There were some people with Priyanshi to help her but Priyanshi sends them away from there too, she already has a perfect plan on what is she making today.....her mother recipe the only thing she remember about her mother..her favourite food
She first tear the milk, then makes a batter of chenna by crumble it and make a batter, she puts the batter on a tray after placing Banana leaf on the tray, she also applies ghee on the leaves and heats it well after covering it by another banana leaf and after waiting some time finally the sweets are ready, Priyanshi waits for it to cool down and after it cools down, she cuts it and brings it in a bowl for everyone.
She had decorated her food nicely and she placed it in front of Sumati ji and Anamika, "mene kuch naya banaya hai iska naam cheena poda hai ye me jahan bachpan me rahti thi waha bahut khate the aur ye meri maa ki pasandida mithai thi.. ye ekamaatr chiz hai jo mujhe unke bare me yaad hai mujhe aisi hi achhe se bana na aata tha isalie bana diya"
[I have made something new, its name is chhena poda, people used to eat it a lot where I used to live in my childhood and this is also my mother's favourite sweet.. it's the only thing i remember about her , I knew how to make it so I made it.]
"I have never seen this before, but it looks very tasty" Sumati ji eats a little and she gets stunned, she had never tasted such delicious food before, and how could she have eaten it before, cheena poda was odisha's one of most famous sweets which was discovered in the early 20th century
Anamika also eats chhena podh and happiness spreads on her face. "Wah bhabhi ye to bahut hi svadisht hai ham to bina baja hi dar rahe the, aisa kuch hamne pahle kabhi nahi khaya"

"haan aisa kuch hamne bhi pahle kabhi nahi khaya tha beti tum to bade achhe pakavan bana leti ho" saying this Sumati ji signals a maid to bring something and the maid takes a box and places it in front of her, Sumati ji opens it, it contains a beautiful diamond necklace and a gold bangles "This is a reward for your first kitchen"
[Yes, i have never eaten anything like this before, dear, you make very good dishes]
"No no maasi, what will I do with it?" Priyanshi tries to refuse quickly but Sumati ji forcibly hands her the box, "Hey, don't refuse it and this maasi maa of yours has given you something for the very first time, won't you accept it."
Priyanshi can't refused anymore on that and she has to take the box "Ok maasi maa only for you" then Priyanshi calls Madhusmita with a gesture "Madhu keep it in my room" Madhusmita takes the box from Priyanshi's hand "Yes queen"
"Come on, now that the ritual is over, let's have our meal" said Sumati ji. Hearing her, Priyanshi also comes and sits next to her.
In front of them there was a silver and gold table in which food was kept by delicious and unique foods, the three of them start eating there, Priyanshi was very happy to sit with them and eat food.
After having food, as it was time for Anamika's dance practice time, she left leaving Priyanshi and maasi maa alone
After her departure, Sumati ji and Priyanshi were going to their room through the palace alley, Priyanshi was very happy and was walking with Sumati ji humming a song. Then her eyes go outside and her attention slick there.
Seeing her, a smile comes on Sumati ji's lips and she says "tumhe bahar jana chahiye ab tum is samrajy ki rani ho tumhe bahar jake parja se milna chahiye aise hi to tum parja aur uske pareshani ke bareme jan sakogi, ek rani ko wahi karna chahiye"
[You should go out now, you are the queen of this kingdom, you should go out and meet your people, only then you will be able to know about them and their problems, a queen should do the same.]
Suddenly, Priyanshi's face turns from happiness to sadness. "No, maasi maa, maybe I am not worthy of that. I don't know what a queen should do, what she shouldn't, how she should live, how she shouldn't. I am not ready to take this responsibility maybe"
Sumati ji feels very bad after listening to Priyanshi. Anamika had told her about her past, how she came to this palace and many other things. It was not her fault that she did not know the rules and regulations of the palace.
