You know what? You really hurt me,
You really did.
It wasn't what you said,
It wasn't the way you acted.
It was how you made me feel,
How you made me feel like I was nothing.
You know what? It really hurt,
It really was tough to take.
You made me feel like I was useless,
You made me feel like I wasn't enough.
Why did you have to say those things?
Why did you have to say them to me?
Why couldn't you have been nicer?
Why couldn't you have been more kind?
Why did you have to bring me down,
When I was already so low?
Why did you have to hurt me,
When I was already so weak?
Now I'm left here in pieces,
In complete and total anguish,
I'm left to pick up the pieces of my broken heart.
