"On your knees now"
Nedvar spoke with a harsh tone, a tone he never uses it with Hermione.
Hermione stood there shocked, not believing any word he just spoke. She stood there contemplating her thoughts and his order.

“I always listen to my parents. And I think you should also do the same, Mio,” said Alex with a stupid grin on his face.
Who even gave him permission to give me a nickname? It sounds so sickening, Hermione thought.
Bianca coughed loudly, catching everyone’s attention at the table. She rolled her eyes as she gazed at Alex, clearly showing her dislike for him.
Hermione sat to her left and sipped her champagne, deaf to all the rubbish Alex threw out to impress her parents. Carlo ate his steak in silence, and soon after finishing, he began sipping on his red wine. Hermione sat between her siblings, Bianca to her left and Carlo to her right. Her friends sat next to Carlo, while her parents sat next to Bianca. Alex sat opposite her.
Everyone enjoyed the delicious dinner, and the instrumental small concert created a calm atmosphere. Nedvar sat diagonally to Hermione, observing her every action.
Bianca noticed the eye contact shared between Hermione and Nedvar but kept quiet. She wanted to punch Alex on the nose to help drown out his annoying voice.
“If you don’t shut your mouth, I’m going to stab this fork in your neck and watch you die while I enjoy my chocolate muffin,” Bianca snapped at him, pointing her fork angrily in his direction, already fed up with listening to him pretend to be a good son.
Mama Clair gasped loudly, glaring at the little girl who was eating her dessert as if she had just spoken about the weather. Papa Warner was in between them, shaking his head while hiding a smile from his wife, who apologized to Alex.
Alex sat there with wide eyes, staring at the little girl. Everyone at the table heard Bianca, but only Clair reacted; the others sat calmly, expecting Alex to open his mouth and then Bianca to stab him.
Hermione and Carlo smirked at Alex, enjoying their drinks. “It’s okay, Mama Clair. She’s just young, right, princess?” Bianca banged the table loudly, gaining the attention of nearby tables. She shot glares at Alex because she didn’t like being called a princess.
“You should be happy that my parents are here.” Having said that, she pulled her chair back and walked toward the bar.
Alex sat there, shocked to see a little girl with this much anger. Hermione got up with her friends and followed Bianca. Alex gave a sheepish smile to Carlo, but Carlo returned it with a blank face.
Carlo turned his head to the side and caught Nedvar watching Alex with a blank expression and a tight hold on his wine glass. He saw Nedvar gulp the wine and then turn his attention toward his second-in-command, Rocco.
