It's been about three days since we took off from that inhabited island. My fever had finally gone away, Luffy and Robin looks well and everyone else were doing our own thing while we set off to our next destination, Water 7.
"Man what a beautiful day!" Nami said while stretching her arms as high as she could. She and I were relaxing on our lounge chairs, enjoying the sun and breeze with a glass of iced teas.
"It sure does feel good today." I commented.
"(Y/N)-chwan! Nami-swan!" Sanji called out to me from down below. Nami and I looked down to see the cook running towards us with hearts in his eyes, holding two plates of food in his hand. "I have made you two a potato paille." He set the dishes on the table in front of us.
Looking at the dish, the potatoes are shaped like thin, crispy sticks seasoned with aromatic herbs on top. It looked and smelled amazing! I grabbed the plate, picked up the fork and took a bite of the food. My eyes lit up at the delicious taste of the crunchy potato in my mouth. "mmmm Sanji this is delicious!"
"Yes this is so good!" Nami added.
"Oh I'm so happy!" Sanji shouted, with more hearts in his eyes. "Is there anything else you'd like (Y/N)-Chwan?"
I held up my empty glass towards Sanji. "I guess I'd like more Iced tea please."
"Yes! Sure thing my love! Anything for you!"
With that, Sanji ran back to the kitchen with a speed of light, leaving a dust of smoke from the amount of speed he ran. I couldn't help but to blush at the attention Sanji has been giving me. He's been acting like this ever since that day he somewhat confessed to me. Sanji has really been such a sweet, gentleman to me and I can't help but to really appreciate him. If I can, I would reciprocate those feelings back in a heartbeat but I also need to sort out my feelings for Lucci.
It's been two years since Lucci and I have seen each other. What if he tells me he wants to be with me too? This would really complicate things...
"So (Y/N)-san" Nami said, looking at me with a devilish smirk on her face.
"Yes Nami?" I looked at her, gulping my food nervously.
"What exactly is going on between you and Sanji-kun? I know the two of you like each other. But why aren't you two together yet?" She asked, setting down her plate of food.
I let out a heavy, defeated sigh and explained to her my situation between me and Lucci. I can see her nodding her head in understanding as I told her my story. As soon as I was done, I was suddenly knocked on the head by her.
"Ya! What you do that for Nami!?" I yelled at the girl.
"Because you dummy! It's clear that Sanji is the right man for you!" Nami shouted.
"W-What do you mean by that!?"
"Listen if this guy did not tell you his feelings right then and there before you left and is making you wait these two years, then he's playing with your feelings! I'm sorry to say this but he may not like you back."
Is she right? Is Lucci actually just messing with my feelings? Yes my feelings for Sanji are honest and true. I have fallen for him as well. No, there's no way Lucci would do such a thing. He was very kind, polite and gentle to me too. Lucci was there for me when I was struggle with Aqua Laguna. He was there for me whenever we hung out at Blueno's bar. Although Lucci rarely spoke, he always listened to me. Nami has to be wrong....
"I'm sorry Nami, but I think you're wrong..." I said, getting up from the lounge chair and made my way back inside the ship cabin.
