After school on Monday - Millie was late for work but her manger didn't mind as it was only 5 minutes. "Millie - go take their orders please." Janet said - Millie smiled and went over only to see it was Bella with a random guy. "What are your orders?" she asked getting her notepad and pen out.
"BLT please, sister." Bella said smirking but Millie just sighed and took their orders, and went back to work. 15-20 minutes later she took their order over without saying anything, when she turned her back Bella intentionally dropped her food and stood up screaming. "You didn't put my plate on table - look at it on the floor!" Bella shouted, Millie stun around shocked but saw in it her eyes. "I - I" if Millie argued back she might have been fired.
"Where is your manager?! You're fucking useless!" Bella shouted, and Janet came rushing over from the office looking angry. "You do realize you sat in view of the camera? I saw everything." Janet said, Bella's face went pale and sat back down without saying anything but Millie thought it wasn't good enough so she called Charlie. "Dad, Bella is at my work and causing trouble." Millie said hanging up but stared straight at Bella whilst she did it.
Not long after - Charlie came to her work, Janet showed him the footage - resulting her to be escorted out, "How do you deal with her?" Jax said, "I don't. I ignore her most of the time or I am at my boyfriends house." Millie said just watching Charlie put Bella in his police car.
"Boyfriend?" Jax asked. Millie smiled thinking of Noah - "Yeah, almost a year now." Millie said smiling, glanced at him before going back to work. A few hours later, Noah went into the diner but he couldn't see his girlfriend. "Excuse me, where is Millie?" Noah asked Jax.
"I don't know." Jax asked looking at him as he doesn't know who he is, "Can you find out?" Noah asked already had enough of his attitude, "Millie!" Noah shouted, Jax jumped at the loud voice suddenly - "Sir, please stop shouting if not you can leave." Jax said trying to seem taller than him but he isn't.
Suddenly Millie came out from the back, smiled and went up to him - "There she is." Noah said when he saw her, he kissed her right in front of Jax who was glaring.
"Oh - Noah this is Jax, he's new and Jax this is Noah -" - "her boyfriend." Noah finished her sentence for her, "Nice to meet you." Jax said clearly lying, "I would say the same but I don't lie." Noah said turning back to Millie.
"Are you ready? Esme has cooked." he asked, Millie's face brightened and when she got her bag, Noah picked it up for her. "Bye, Janet!" Millie yelled waving and they walked out.
"He's new?" Noah asked, "Yes, why?" Millie wondered standing at his car - "He wouldn't tell me where you were." Noah said, "so I yelled." he added making her laugh. "Did it scare him?" she asked knowing how deep his voice his when he yells, "Of course." Noah said shutting her car door before going round to the drivers side.
"How was work?" Millie asked him, "Busy - some bratty kid though it was funny to stomp on my foot and had to act as if it hurt." Noah explained making her laugh, "Awh poor baby." Millie said touching Noah's face. "How was your day?" Noah asked - "I was late for school so I had to stay behind and was late for work." Millie finished but he knew there was something she wasn't telling him.
"Millie - what else?" he asked, she took a deep breath and started to explain what happened at work.
"You don't have to work anyway." Noah mumbled but she heard it, "I have a car to pay for and what if after graduating I get an offer from university?" she asked, "Millie - I've told you I can pay it off for you and we will make a plan for when you DO get into university." Noah said glancing at her - "I know. I was actually thinking about quitting because when it comes to exams I need to focus. I would like to be a nurse - I don't know." Millie explained, when Noah pulled into the driveway none of them got out.
"Baby, if that's what you want, I will support you 100%." Noah said looking at her, before she could reply - she got out the car so fast it actually shocked him and threw up in the bin on the side of the house. "Woah, you okay?" Noah asked her, she just nodded and went inside - brushed her teeth then went downstairs to greet everyone. "Sorry about that." Millie smiled and sat on Noah, "You feel better?" Noah asked her - "yeah, I don't even know what happened." she said leaning on him.
Millie started to fall asleep so he got comfortable so she could nap on him, when he saw she was really sleeping he spoke to his family. "She wants to quit her job but she's not 100% on it." he said making them look at him. "She might want to become a nurse but she doesn't know about that either probably because Bella showed up at her work." Noah added.
"What?" Rosalie asked so he told her what Millie told him, "Bitch." Tabitha said seething with anger, "Tell you what, tomorrow I'll ask her what she wants to do and if you want I can tell you or I can advice her to tell you." Tabitha offered. "Thank you." Noah said moving some hair out of her face, "are you going to marry her?" Alice asked - "Yes, one day. Probably propose when she graduated." Noah said thinking about her being his wife.
"She'll go from Millie Swan to Millie Cullen." Jasper said smiling as he thinks of the girl as a sister, "Girlfriend, fiancée then wife." Noah said smiling along with his family but it was cut short when her phone rang making her groan without looking at the screen she answered it.
"Hello? Dad?" Millie said sitting up fully waking up, "she wants to apologize for almost getting me fired? Not happening. Why are you defending her?! You saw it she did it on purpose! I could have gotten fired!" Millie said in disbelief shaking her head as Esme handed her some tea, she mouth thank you to the kind woman.
"What? No! My car is my car! It's in my fucking name!" Millie started to get angry, thankfully her car is at the Cullen house. "If she wants a better one then tell her to get a fucking job." Millie snapped, "Dad, I love you but are you joking?" she asked, "You can tell her to go fuck herself!" she snapped the final time and hung up then turned her phone off.
"She's only gone and told dad that I don't need my car anymore because Noah picks me up all the time." Millie said looking at Alice and Rosalie. "Oh and apparently she is deeply sorry that she almost got me fired from my job." Millie added shaking her head drinking her tea. few hours later - Noah calmed Millie down and they eventually went to his bedroom, "Would it be soon if I ask to move in with you?" Millie asked after awhile.
"No but only if you want to." Noah said feeling excitement build up, Millie straddled him and gently grabbed his face, "I want to live with you, would you mind if I moved in? and of course if it's okay with everyone else?" Millie asked, he put his hand on the back of her head and pushed it gently forward connecting their lips.
"wait -" Noah said standing up and going into the hallway, "It's fine for you to move in." he said with a massive smile on his face Millie stood on the bed and good thing he caught her making her laugh - "I'll speak to dad. Does that mean I can decorate the our room?" Millie asked with a smirk on her face but he loved it either way.
